Re: Where to get the new shadow mask filter?

My Favorit Settings so far for Consoles: TrashUncle / 1x / Trinitron_Simple_Bright with Comp_Blend_HV025 and Gamma Poly 2,5 ! The Same with S-Slot-Mask and JVC_Basic looks also great What are your Favorite settings on a LCD screen? Maybe we find for each Display device a nice looking settings solution to get a authentic look (and not the awful sta...

Same issue here but the replacement of the MiSTER and the linux folder didn't change anything. I will do a clean re-install then :-/

ghamson wrote: Fri Aug 06, 2021 1:29 am Thanks for the help folks - with the 2nd email release - the linked rom worked without issue. Changing the header details as recommended for Blast Em also works on MiSTer.
Did you buy the game directly on their kickstarter page? I'd only need the rom, not the full package.

Re: Sony Trinitron CDP-15SF2

Hey there, I've just got a CRT Monitor (from 2003) and I'm getting the same "Out Of Range" results on it. I have just replaced the current .ini (that I used for the OLED screen) and replaced it by a generic one and I'm getting the same error. I'm using the I/O Board as well and plug the screen directly to it in VGA. I'm I missing somethin...

NeoGeo is about huge ROMs with massive graphics. CD kills it all.
I'm curious about that, CD could hold up to 650mb of data why did they have to cripple games?

Thanks!
Sounds like you have the switches on your DE10 Nano setup incorrectly. Set them up like this:

Problem solved! Thanks you!

Re: IO Board 6.1 Jumper Question

The white jumper cap near P3 (5 pin external header connection), when removed assuming the trace on the board below is cut disables all your status LED's (power, disk, user) replace the cap and your have the LED's again, useful when playing in a dark room, or if you wish to have remote status LED's and disable the board mounted LED's. Does using VGA on a modern LCD TV make sense?

Hello! I’m going to use the MiSTer pretty much solely with an LCD TV. Where I live (Hong Kong) the CRT TVs are really rare, none of them have scart built in and I really don’t have space for it. I know that LCD screens usually have lags, I’ve noticed that mine doesn’t have a “Video Game” mode but I can manually deactivate multiple images “enhanceme...

beamrider wrote: Mon Jun 01, 2020 12:51 pm OK, thanks.

I ordered the Wired Saturn controller as I read the ergonomics are better.
Same here, the Retro-Bit Wired Controller seems to be a winner in both latency and ergonomics.

Is there a same list of test with Arcade Sticks? I'm wondering if I should buy a modern one (actually Saturn) or an old one with adapter.
