I was thinking the same. IF the 'spiritualized' cores magically show up one day, I might bite. A huge cost savings from a Retrotink 4K for specific case uses. I hope to get a Retrotink 4K one day for all the other features though.

I always format fresh drives because I personally don't like any factory software on them. Even if I wasn't like that, I think the storage drive one uses with RetroNAS HAS to be formatted entirely during setup anyway.
