It's going to depend on what bios you have as your boot.rom. Mine generally works on most things, but occasionally I am having to use a different one for certain stuff. I am only really trying Japanese versions of games atm however.

Warlords (Atari 1980)
Faint hope that anybody might be working on/might want to work on this great game that hardly anybody talks about?

That’s amazing Xbytez, thanks. So pretty much just need to add those wires/resistors to complete the upgrade?

Can I Upgrade my 5.x Analog IO Board?
Hey, So I have had a perfectly working analog IO board for the past few years but am now looking to get into SNAC (PSX and MegaDrive mainly) and I believe that the requirement is a v6.1 board in order for it to work correctly. Struggling to find anything comprehensive on what the difference is and whether I could mod my existing board or not becaus...

Don’t quote me but I’m sure you can turn off the Main fork download.
I’m sure I added this at some point and it was okay. Another way of sorting arcades. Think talk of “banning” anything open source is a bit much.

Re: GunCon 2 Dropping Inputs
I may have the same prob. Cannot get my G2 to work/sync with my big Sony TV even though it worked when I briefly tested it at first on a 14” portable. I posted at the time but gave up. I get the flashes but have no real control of the hit box and if I try and calibrate the gun I can see the movement but it just doesn’t work properly. Sounds similar...

The Noctua is super quiet and reliable. From memory not sure it is a sure it was a straight swap, somebody else will know better. I def remember shortening the cable.

Re: Arcade Cabinet builds and MisterCades: DIY, custom made orders, conversions, etc.
This looks really cool pal. I built a couple of Mame Barton’s a few years back before getting into restoring original cabs and had a lot of fun with LEDBlinky. Mine ran on Hyperspin as it was pre Launchbox which is now much better. Also dabbled with Attract Mode briefly. I too wanna do a MiSTer can but wanna do it it TATE / vertical but would mean ...

Re: CGC Game 9: Dracula (Intellivision) [Console]
The Intellivision is 100% the reason I got into collecting all my old memories again. I remember I always wanted Boxing but never had it as a kid. Bought it when I got this Intellivision a few years ago. Put the cartridge in. Two players! I completely forgot the games like Soccer etc had to have two players. Still never played Boxing!

Without doubt one of the games that was responsible for me ultimately becoming a games journalist and spending the best part of a lifetime wrting about games. Just hunted around for something I wrote years ago for myself around Drac on the Intellivision.Link here - https://medium.com/@iampaulmcnally/30af8aba2c6d for posterity.

Re: CGC Round 9 core: Mattel Electronics Intellivision
I’m fortunate in that years ago messing with emulation I bought an adapter from Canada (I think) that lets you plug a real Inty controller into a socket and it converts it all to USB and it works fine on the MiSTer. I then picked up a couple of replacement controllers on eBay but would have bought a broken system as at the time you could pick them ...

Re: IREM M72 & M84 Core (R-Type, R-Type II, Image Fight, Ninja Spirit, Gallop : Armed Police Unit)
So, Just ran Update all and it downloaded the roms etc for R_Type II but when I try to load it I get a ic17.4f not found in the rtype2.zip - world or Japanese version..
Tried swapping it for different roms, but the same happens. Any pointers welcome?

I really want to do this but the Trinity is sold out everywhere I have looked in the UK. Is it much of a faff to use a different ESP32? And if not has anyone got a handy link of one to get?

Re: Can Somebody Talk Me Through Guncon Setup Please?
Hmmm doesn't work with the RGB SCART adapter either. Same result. Can do the Calibration but as soon as you get in-game the crosshair doesn't move. Wonder if it's the gun. They are pretty basic though.

Re: Can Somebody Talk Me Through Guncon Setup Please?
Yeah I think it's going to be something like that cos it worked on the other CRT out of the port on the front I have a suspicion that Sony isn't doing that. It's sensing the gun movement as I can do the OSB calibration but nothing in games...

Re: Can Somebody Talk Me Through Guncon Setup Please?
Hmm yeah it doesn't work. I can do the Calibration in core with the test suite and get all the numbers at the screen edges to change as I move the gun, but as soon as I finish the crosshairs stays in the centre and nothing
