Re: N64 Adaptoid Incorrect Stick Axis

To round this off, having updated to a recent unstable MiSTer(2023-08-18 64131f0) I rebound the controller in main and no longer have this problem.
Perhaps something was wrong in the initial binding or something changed but either way working as expected now.

N64 Adaptoid Incorrect Stick Axis

Hi Folks, I was hoping to use one of my N64 controllers with the upcoming core, so hooked up my old Adaptoid USB converter in the hope it might work. adaptoid.jpg <-- one like this It maps OK in the menu and does function, but the stick Y axis seems to be seen incorrectly - instead of appearing as ALY it seems to be ARY. Stick position Top Left: 20...

Re: Controller A/B & X/Y mapping swap issue

Thanks - looks like the same button combo is used so bound to be it! I’ll choose another mapping. Yes, would be handy if the home button was usable!

Controller A/B & X/Y mapping swap issue

Hi All, I’m having an odd issue with controller mapping and wondered if anyone could shed some light on it? I’m using a Retrobit wireless MD controller. Currently on Mister 200602 So far this has happened with multiple cores (cps1, tg16, various arcade) Example Repro: Load core (e.g Donkey Kong arcade) Press a controller button and note mapping of ...

Re: Arcade Card BIOS

For me it is reproducible from a cold start of the core or from restart. Seen in first level or in attract loop. My saved config currently has Arcade Card disabled, so these are my repro steps: Boot tg16 core Load Parasol Stars .pce (I’m using japan but us has same issue) Wait for attract gameplay - look for the fruit appearing and green pop-up sco...

Re: Arcade Card BIOS

For most games that don't need this this does nothing, although if you have issues you can toggle the Arcade Card off and hit reset to see if the game returns to normal functionality. Interesting. I am seeing issues with Parasol Stars if the Arcade Card is enabled - namely missing or corrupt sprites, typically fruit or point that appear when colle...

Re: Atari Jaguar Core

Yes, T2K is a bit of a tease isn't it! It is my favourite Jag game so would be good to see further progress with compatibility - whenever I hook up my Jag I usually only end up playing that. I never found the original controllers very confortable so its good to have alternatives - Not sure how the numpad support will end up working out tho. Always ...

Re: MiSTerFPGA.co.uk

I've placed a couple of orders with MiSTerFPGA.co.uk and have been very happy with the quality & service. Happy to recommend!
+1 for interested in what case options may become available if you are going to carry them. I'd lke a slightly more enclosed solution but in the short term am using an acrylic sandwich style that came from etsy.

Re: X68000 Set Up Guide for X68000 Core | Pezz82

Thanks for that - this is a really interesting core to see evolve. A good few years ago I played Attack on the Death Star on one of the emus at the time so it was the first thing I wanted to try. I get a lot of glitching with that once it gets to the wireframe intro so looking forward to seeing the improvements.
