I had similar issues when Region and Bios combination were wrong.
After changing these to the game it worked.

Re: So Robert Peip (FPGAzumSpass) Is Working on a New Core...
My vote is on a Saturn core
Only because someone else is working on something has never stopped Robert.
He has his own ideas he wants to achieve and that also includes going beyond what the hardware could do like what he did with the PSX core.

I think AO core will not be enough powered, Maldita need windows xp mini but i will try.

Re: Maldita Castilla Port?
As far as i'm aware this game has never been ported to a retro console like the 16bit or 32bit generation, so in essence you'd need to code either a snes / megadrive / playstation / saturn game system to handle the sprites from that game, considering the limitations of the hardware (especially the 16bit generation) you'd probably run into some iss...

That's why it makes no sense on the current stage to even have such a list.
Once we have a release or a stage where Robert says let go find bugs then a list makes sense

Re: USB Hub Broken After Last Update
Last weekend I thought I would give it another try and run update_all. It seemed like the issues all had been solved in the latest updates. Unfortunately the same thing happened: no USB functionality again. I used different USB hubs but to no avail. I rolled back to the July update which I could do fairly fast since I now knew what to do. Clearly ...

Dos 7.1 is probably the issue. It was part of windows 98 but didnt get a standalone release.

Re: Has anyone tried a 1TB MicroSD card in their MiSTer?
Some time ago many cores used the 2nd sd card as internal storage such as MSX, Atari 800 etc.
But the good devs found a way to implenent the whole thing via vhd.
So it is not necessary anymore.
The x86000 and PC88 core also used this at the beginning but thank god also switched to the new better solution.

Re: Linux Games
The cores are not using the linux side maybe for simple stuff like overlays but that's it . I mean feel free to port some linux stuff but they're better suited on a raspberry pi than here. The arm side of the mister is really not very powerful. I foreshadow sorgeligs comment "This is doesn't make sense and not the right hardware for this."

I've got virtual drives working no problem.
You can have the images in the mistetfs shared folder and mount them with SHSUCDX.
Throw the commands before some launcher script and it's pretty seamless.
I think this is what most people are doing for now.

Re: CoCo 3 core updates? Docs? Anything?
I don't know of any cores behind a paywall. What do you mean? There's a few devs that only make their cores available to their Patreon subscribers, or (more commonly) that post "beta" versions for Patreons before eventually releasing the core to everybody. That's a big difference, "eventually" , they are ALL released for free. ...

Re: How to flip a disk
When you dump a flippy disk on c64 you get two images. Image [Side A] Image [Side B]. But I think you did that already. Now I had the same problem with maniac mansion on a real c64 with copied disks from the previous owner. It wouldnt take the B side. I never could figure out why not and I think it is due to a bad dump or copy protection on the dis...
