Re: SuperCPU128DX MiSTer
The 128 didn't need a special monitor so much as the 128 & Amiga just used fundamentally different video formats. The 128's 80-column mode was RGB-I (Digital RGB) and the Amiga was usually doing Analog RGB. The Amiga's 23 pin video port actually did supply RGBI signals on certain pins and a properly wired up cable would let you use an Amiga on ...

I used double-sided tape. Nothing fancy, the Scotch brand double-sided cellophane tape works find for this application.

Re: Any Issues With Micro SD Card Extenders / Extension in Checkmate A1500 Mini Case?
I checked the checkmate website and looked at both cases, it looks like they use the same covers. I thought about putting it in the middle, but that would have required that I model in a base for the extender bit to be taped/glued to. The hole is 35mm x 12mm, should be able to fit 4 of them across if you wanted. I've done the modelling in FreeCAD, ...

Re: Any Issues With Micro SD Card Extenders / Extension in Checkmate A1500 Mini Case?
OK, how's this look? I've not sent it off to print yet.
I have the original, full-sized case, do the A1500+ Mini & the original use the same drive bay covers?

Re: Any Issues With Micro SD Card Extenders / Extension in Checkmate A1500 Mini Case?
I'd thought about making a drive bay cover mount, might still do that. I thought he was going to publish models of those parts for us to use/modify for our needs, but if he has, I can't find any.
Maybe I've found something to work on this weekend...

Re: Any Issues With Micro SD Card Extenders / Extension in Checkmate A1500 Mini Case?
I'm using one of those with my setup, in a regular A1500 Plus case, though I designed & 3d-printed a mount for it to go in a slot-cover. I should upload it to printables so others can use it too. I've not done any serious filesystem stress testing or anything, but it seems to work just fine. I'd love to check out your slot cover mount if possi...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
Both the 64 and 128 could definitely handle 2400 baud, at least with an Aprotek Minimodem. Yes, and in native 128 mode, it handled 2400 just fine. With the Swiftlink cart, I was able to do 14.4k. When combined with a cart-port multiplexer, I was able to use the Swiftlink and an REU at the same time and use the REU as a RAM disk and even download t...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
There was plenty of terminal software running in native 128 mode, many supporting 80 columns too: https://commodore.software/downloads/category/789-c128-terminal-programs No idea if it was ever possible to go online from CP/M mode. Could be the Z80 which was normally used in C128 mode to handle some I/O (not sure about the User Port), can't do it ...

Re: Atari 2600 paddles on C64 via DB9 / SNAC
From what I remember, the Atari & Commodore paddles were not 100% compatible. I found a reference saying that this was due to the C= paddles using 500K Ohm pots and the Atari ones using 1M Ohm pots. Possible this could be addressed in the core(s), maybe have separate settings if you're using real C= paddles or Atari ones.

Re: Networking post RTG release
I did my initial Amiga HD setup under FS-UAE on Linux, then copied the VHD files to the MiSTer SD card. You should be able to do the same using WinUAE if you're a Windows user.

Re: Networking post RTG release
Yeah, that's basically what I see on the linux side of mine as well. I guess the really weird part is that this was working for you before. I went back and re-read your original post. You mentioned that you'd tested with the MiSTer hooked up over ethernet, wifi, and now finally with some sort of wifi<->ethernet bridge, which the MiSTer would just s...

Re: Networking post RTG release
Is your local network using the 10.0.0.0/255.255.255.0 network? With the Amiga core connected, what does 'ifconfig ppp0' on the Linux side show? Right now, my WAG is that something in the stack is not understanding CIDR networking and is instead treating this as pre-CIDR Class networking, in which anything in the 10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255 range is a ...

Re: Networking post RTG release
Ah, one more thing, looks like that will be '0' if you don't have a ppp session set up in a running core. I got the output from that earlier run while the core was running and had the MiamiDX ppp session connected, but I was connected to the MiSTer over ssh. The Linux image isn't a typical Ubuntu/RedHat/Whatever type setup, it seems to be based on ...

Re: Networking post RTG release
At some point after my "things to check" post above, my networking started doing the same thing, kinda... I could ping anything I wanted, by IP. I could do 'MiamiNSlookup www.google.com 8.8.8.8' and get an answer, but I couldn't otherwise get any name resolution. I poked around a lot, but what finally seemed to fix it was to remove the na...

Re: Networking post RTG release
I'd double-check that your Miami settings are correct. Double check that your settings match the screenshots, particularly, the setup of the Interface, make sure the "IP type" and "Gateway type" are set to "dynamic." Some commands to try from a cli: First, check that the ppp0 interface came up properly (All IPs are goi...

Re: Second Reality
Second Reality was one of the first things I tried when I got my Mister setup. I give it another run each time there is an update to this core. It runs, but not perfectly. The music and the scenes fall out of sync pretty quickly, and a few of the screens don't run at all, just blank for a few seconds. My config.sys (using the default emm386 that sh...

Re: C64 Original Keyboard on MiSTer
You should be able to use the Keyrah keyboard interface to use a C-64 (or a number of other old keyboards) as a USB keyboard.
