Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
I recently got myself a DE10 nano and saw there was no C128 core, so I figured this is a nice little project to get back into FPGA programming :D The C128 was my second computer back in the eighties - traded in my C64 for it - and I loved it, and still do. I still have it, and though it needed some repairs over the years it's still functioning. Bu...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
Yeah, a C128 core would be nice. The C128 was my second computer, after the C64 so it would be mainly for nostalgia as I used my 128 mostly in 64 mode. I suspect that it’s the case for most 128 users so there’s no strong incentive to develop the core. But the 128 had a couple of good features like a much enhanced BASIC and 80 column display. Geos ...

Re: Load tapes on C64 Core
I use Gamebase, which is the best 1G1R collection out there. It has a huge number of games in t64 format and converting them would be a mammoth task. And I bet this breakdown is only temporary, since it's been working fine before. Thankfully somebody has already reported it. I made you a batch to convert the T64 Unpack at the root of your director...

Re: Load tapes on C64 Core
Indeed, it no longer works. I agree that the T64 format is unnecessary and shouldn't even exist. GameBase would be much better without the T64 files. On the other hand, it would be better and more logical, if T64 were in the Tape menu. The standard command to load a T64 or a TAP file would rather be : LOAD "", 1,1 or LOAD "", 1 ...

Many thanks for all the amazing work on the C64 core especially - I was amazed to see my (and my fellow group members') demo, Memento Mori, working so well under Mister! Excellent stuff :-) I did have one tiny request .. and maybe it's not actually possible - but I hope that it is..? Basically .. F12 is currently used to bring up the OSD which I c...
