Re: Faster CPU for Minimig core?
Tbh having a 68040/60 option would be great as a dev environment for me. Having a super small sized ASM dev setup to dabble into Amiga coding without having to break the bank on a warp card (and equally capable 68060) would do wonders to the current Amiga demoscene. And no, a WinUAE dev setup really isn't optimal for that. It's fine for the basics...

If you have a 68030 CPU, you can probably add a screen on the OSD between 68000, 68020 and 68030

Re: Faster CPU for Minimig core?
For me two features will be nice on Minimig :
- a better / faster CPU (I also have a Vampire so I can you use it for "heavy" tasks but ...)
- "native" ethernet support from the Mister (PPP is so sloooowwwwwww)

Yes, it’s rare but sometimes, weird screen after changing coresDaveGeorge wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 8:31 pm Updating the menu core did not help me get the Cave core to work either unfortunatly. But from what I understand the update is supposed to help video from glitching out occasionally after changing cores?

Sorry some folks are having trouble getting the core to run. I just posted something about this on my Patreon (public post): https://www.patreon.com/posts/46222825 TL;DR I'm working on the boot issues for some people. Don't worry, and thank you so much for your work. I have the "Keyboard" message, waiting, waiting, waiting ... nothing :-...

Re: Shared Folder Discussion
Nice , it fixes my problems with Voodoo-X ... can't load files from Shared folder. I have to copy them on another VHD. Now, it's working fine
ps: probably this : Some applications would fail to load some files due to negative seek offsets being corrupted by unsigned conversion.

It works, just try with a "[cr Triad][t +4 TPI]" version of the D64.
You have to switch the joystick port within the F12 menu.

Re: Help Need an 980MB Harddisk-HDF with two (!) Partitions
If you install IDEFix from Aminet to your boot partition (e.g. MegaAGS), Minimig should recognize 4 IDE drives. It is not included by default in MegaAGS since it has some other issues, but that’s how I managed to get it working. Anyone tried this one? http://aminet.net/package/driver/media/AtapiMagic Yes, doesn't work for me (3.1.4). Idefix works ...

RTC is OK with ao486 but not with Minimig (RTG, WB et KS 3.1.4.1)

RTC shift with latest core ?
Hi,
Do you have time shifting (about 1mn every 10 mn) with the latest core ?
RTC is OK with ao486 but with the latest minimig core, RTC is not OK.
If I reboot Minimig, the time is OK but shortly after, it will take 1mn every 10 mn (approximately).
Thank you for your help.
