Re: VS System support. Anyone working on it?
by way of update, I got the game to actually load with an old NES offshot kitrinx did (mapper 99 support) but it has garbled graphics. Linking the source of the core I used (attached) for posterity from 9/27/2023 https://discord.com/channels/647909397477195803/1091056042667937944/1156771844360245350 edit: I am assuming this isn't working due to inc...

Re: VS System support. Anyone working on it?
Hello. Wondering if anyone can confirm this works. I can get every other game to load except this. Make sure you have a V2 header. Well I'm having a hard time at this. I grabbed the header repair tool and ran it against the file referenced above and no luck. https://github.com/Kitrinx/NES_Header_Repair Reading XML, please wait... Evaluating files....

Re: What is the best option for a low latency arcade stick?
Also got this as my first stick, also was steered here because the new 8bitdo wired latency tested pretty high, and I wanted something that could handle Switch wireless too. I also don't notice any Mister latency issues when wired but would like to know how to test properly. The thing actually looks on sale for Amazon Prime day so pretty good pric...

Re: What is the best option for a low latency arcade stick?
https://www.amazon.com/PowerA-Wireless-Nintendo-Gamepad-Controller-Bluetooth/dp/B08GGP4VVB/ I got this for my MiSTer and while I can't measure the latency, from what I can tell it works well. I've played Punch Out with it and didn't notice any lag. I just swapped out the stick with a Sanwa and will do the buttons next (they're kinda mushy), but so ...

Re: NES Save State feature plausible?
Yea, I've gotten a few save patches, it's a good solution when it exists. Honestly, even a suspend or hibernate feature would be cool. It's less I need save states to cheese my way through games and more a way to play in multiple sittings without having to leave the system on / having an easy way to resume where left off. But that is still a good a...

NES Save State feature plausible?
Hi all. Is anyone aware if someone is working on save states for NES? If so, I want to throw money their way :) If I had this feature I could retire my Pi entirely. NES is such a great console but so many older games don't have any save features (I'm looking at you Blaster Master) or brutal password systems (hello Faxanadu, you managed to create a ...

Re: MiSTer game videos on YouTube
Cool! What's your capture setup? I've been interested in doing this myself but have no clue where to begin. I run the MiSTer HDMI output through an Elgato 4K60 S+ (a standalone device that records to an SD card), recording in 1080p 60FPS. I've tried recording stuff in 50FPS, but it caused issues, so I mostly stick to 60FPS for now. The recording i...

Re: Donkey Kong and diagonal controls
I think you need the alternate RBF file that has this option The one I have is called Donkey Kong_Enex_20191207.rbf but I can't seem to find any reference to it online. In any event, here it is off my computer. I believe it should get you diagonal controls. Donkey Kong_Enex_20191207.rar (my understanding is this file is perfectly legitimate to shar...

How did you fix it? I had this issue when I tried to use the pre-configured Win95 VHD.
