Greetings
I've changed root password to something else. I can press F9 or ssh using these new password.
But I can also enter the sdcard through CIFS/SMB using the default password. It does not want the new password.
My knowledge of linux is tiny. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Re: eXoFlynn Top 300 DOS Pack Updates and Support
Hi all, I downloaded all parts of the pack but when I attempt to unzip only the first part unzips and the others do not. I have them all in the same folder. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I downloaded parts 001-017. Please advise. There's a file called top-300-final_files.xml that contains cheksums (md5, crc32, sha1...) for all the files in t...

Re: 8bitDo SN30 Pro+ Bluetooth gamepad
It looks like I am getting older but not wiser. I've finally been able to use the SN30 Pro+ in wired mode. I've even got it working through a 6 year old BT dongle I use for my PC. But as soon as I turned off the Mister, it did not pair anymore. I used mine with an Insignia (Best Buy store brand) Bluetooth 4.0 adapter. The model number is NS-...

8bitDo SN30 Pro+ Bluetooth gamepad
Greetings I got myself for Xmas an 8bitDo SN30 Pro+ Bluetooth gamepad. I am having issues connecting it by wire to my Mister: it does not work. (I do not have a BT dongle for my Mister, so I tried to do it this way). I was wondering if someone else uses this very gamepad on the Mister, and how. I would prefer to attach it to the Mister directly, bu...

Re: Support for Logitech Unifying devices
Greetings Thanks for the replies. I suppose it's a good idea to get an integrated keyboard and touchpad. Maybe I'd do that. One good thing about the "Unifying" stuff is that you can pair several devices to one dongle. It's both a hub and a wireless connector, so to speak. I was used to use a KVM with several computers, back in the day. It...

Support for Logitech Unifying devices
Greetings I have a Logitech Unifying receiver paired with a keyboard (K750) and a mouse (M500). I use it most of the time on my PC, but is always very easy to unplug it from there on to another device that has a usb port, and works great all the time. On the MISTer, the keyboard works great. But the mouse seems to not work at all. I am just curious...

Re: Optical/Toslink audio not working with arcade cores
Greetings, I'm a total noob and I was searching the forums about an issue that's like the issue reported in this thread, so maybe related. Or maybe not. I do also own a mister with a digital i/o board assembled by ultimatemister (1). I do also have issues with sound in the arcade cores, through HDMI, ***in one monitor***. If I plug the mister on tw...
