Re: IO Board LEDs: POWER stopped working?
...I suspect I know what's happened here. During testing, I connected an LED directly between pins 1+2 of the External LED connector. With no current limiting resistor. I presume that's then drawn too much current (or actually attempted to sink too much current) into the GPIO, which is GPIO_1_D4, connected to bank 4 of the Cyclone V SOC. The maximu...

Re: IO Board LEDs: POWER stopped working?
Out of desperation, I've even reimaged a new SD card with Mr Fusion... Same result, LEDs working on the DE10, nothing on the IO board. I've even checked with an LED (and resistor) on the LED header for the Power LED. Still nothing.

IO Board LEDs: POWER stopped working?
Hi all, weird one this... The POWER LED on my analogue IO Board 6.1 has stopped working completely, but USER and DISK are working fine. The LEDs on the nano are dancing nicely. Same result using the header, even if I remove the P5 (led power) jumper. I've checked switches on the nano are in the right place just in case that had an impact I've had a...

Re: MiSTer Extensions
Many thanks for all of these - they're exceptionally cool! I took a plunge and ordered an ACR122 from Aliexpress, an ACR122U-A9 and... it doesn't work with Mister. Works perfectly on my laptop with nfc tools, but fails on MisterFPGA: opens connection to ACS / ACR122U PICC interface acr122_usb:001:009 (I've tried on a powered USB hub, too) polling f...

That’s really neat, and a much tidier solution than mine, which is a few wedges and an Arduino handling the keyboard, plus a couple of transistors to drive the LEDs

Re: Running Apollo Core
There is no better 68k implementation available: there’s long discussions around this. The 68080 core from vampire isn’t available, it’s closed. There might be an option from Mike’s fpgaarcade work when that’s complete and people are working on offloading cpu to the arm side. All of these things are seriously non trivial amounts of work. The 68060 ...

Re: RTG support (update: shipped!)
OK, if I understand it correctly, RTG right now is merely writing directly into the frame buffer directly via the HPS: is that correct? The way PiStorm handles this is that there's a full accelerated RTG implementation on the Amiga. This interfaces to the RPI side via a shared memory interface which writes commands and data to a certain address. On...

Re: RTG support (update: shipped!)
The PiStorm team have been busy implementing RTG using Raylib and the performance is excellent. It looks like the Minimig RTG driver is simply writing to the framebuffer through shared memory - would it be possible to take the same approach as PiStorm here as the difference does seem to be big...

Just a thought: what happens to the LEDs when no sd card is present? That might help diagnose whether it could be sd card/socket related or not

Re: IPF Support
This would require significant changes to the arm side of things, the minimig side of things, and the interface. Right now the minimig requests a track of data from the arm side, and ipf deals with flux… to support ipf (or real disk drives) this interface would need to change and pass raw flux data to Paula within minimig. I think

Re: Real Floppy Drive
This is great, however it’s very tightly coupled to winuae from what I can see. The minimig core floppy interface seems to request and pass sectors. I assume winuae and the new code are between them emulating and passing flux to the Paula/floppy module of winuae… there’s definite advantages to adding to the minimig to arm interface - not least incl...
