Edit, lmao... I just noticed you posted on that thread already.... Guess my info is useless then, ha.
This might help you... It's a few years old, but the OP mentions a discord and closed beta...

Would a Shockwave/Flash Games Core Be Possible?
I know this is probably an odd one to ask, but I was thinking back to some of the Shockwave and flash games/videos from the earlier days of the internet. Then of course I then started wondering if a standalone core that could play all those old games/files would be possible. Most weren't very good, but there were definitely some gems along the way....

Re: Bug? MiSTer display shifted left after running core. Affects all other cores until power cycle.
yeah, seems worse now. I think the HDMI settings have been adjusted based on a recent update post. Now it seems my MiSTer is stuck with the off center video and power cycles no longer fix it. ha. Fun, fun.

Re: Help Req - Cat ran script, lost HDMI video.
I can see video again, yay! Thank you all. @akeley - going back to the default MiSTer.ini file worked, thank you. I compared the two and there were certainly some video setting changes between them. To the others... I'll be keeping a backup now, ha. I'll also try and setup access directly to the MiSTer via my network as that would have made things ...

Lol, nice pun.
Thanks, I'll attempt and report back, but it'll have to wait about a day due to my work schedule.

Help Req - Cat ran script, lost HDMI video.
MiSTer was working perfectly fine. I decided to run Update_All and that completed fine and rebooted. I was back into the script menu when my cat decided to jump onto me and I ran a random script by accident. I'm 90% sure it was called "video_settings_optimal". It completed before I knew what was going on and all seemed to be okay; however...

Bug? MiSTer display shifted left after running core. Affects all other cores until power cycle.
https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/PSX_MiSTer/issues/96 I posted this on the github, but more eyes on this might be helpful. I don't think it's isolated to my setup, but would be helpful to know for certain. "After running the PSX core (even without running a game) the MiSTer begins displaying all video output shifted to the left. This is persist...

Is there room for a merged Genesis/CD/32X core?
Now that we have the proverbial "Tower of Power" would there be room in the FPGA chip to merge all three together and maintain a single core instead of 3 separate cores with folder structures?
I would also assume getting all three merged would allow the few remaining CD/32X enhanced games to run as well?

YES! Been waiting for this. Glad he's still doing okay and I hope he remains safe.
I'm at work, does this work with the MegaCD core at all to play CD/32X enhanced games as of yet??

What’s the Exact Technical Reason for 128MB RAM Limit?
I can't seem to locate this answer. What's the reason that MiSTer can't have a 256MB RAM stick? Is it a hardware or software limit? A physical addressing issue? Something else?
I'm aware that in the future using two 128MB sticks may be needed, but I'm curious the technical reason we're stuck at 128MB per stick.
Thanks for any insight.

Re: How important is the VGA connector?
As a start for HDMI you don't need an I/O board at all as the DE10 already has an HDMI out so you don't need to decide right away. The buttons on the I/O board help, but a keyboard works just as well. Potential benefit of the digital board is it leaves open an extra interface port for potential expansion, but no plans to use that for anything yet. ...

2nd controller doesn't work... but does?
I have two 2.4ghz 8bitdo M30 controllers. I plugged both in and booted up. One works perfectly. Can move around in menus, set buttons for cores, play games, etc. Never had to do anything to make it work... It simply does. The other one can't move around in menus. When I attempt to use in a game or core is gives an error about not being defined. Wit...

Re: Audio Stuttering since April 2020
I haven't noticed this issue on my setup. I'm using a 5TB mechanical HDD. It's plugged into a powered USB hub that then plugs into my MiSTer USB board. I was having issues with my controller freezing with the hard drive plugged in directly (likely my board has a power issue as I'm using a 6amp PSU). Sounds like you're both using solid state drives....

Re: MSU-1
Good news to hear for sure, sorry you may have lost some work though. Certainly looking forward to this being added to the official core. Even if not official, an MSU fork would be welcome. Now I just have to learn how to add an unofficial core to my MiSTer, lol. (assuming this could be added to the "update all" script? 😉 Is anyone workin...

Help Req: All HDDs lock up MiSTer (maybe?)
-edit / update- Seems I was just on the edge of not enough power. After posting this I tried one more thing.... I found a split USB cable (one that provides extra power by using two USB ports). Using my two PSU setup I plugged the data plug into the USB board and the power plug into the I/O board and success... menu keeps esponding and the USB opti...
