Great release, but I noticed the Batman Rises Demo hasn't been added yet, hopefully something AmigaVision team will add in the next update.

Not a big deal as I can just run the floppy image for now.

What is the Tandy 1000 bios name? Whatever I downloaded doesn't show up when I try to set a bios in the menu.

Please refer to the README:

Yeah, someone on Discord told me I had to build the rom. Anyways, I got some help getting this core working, thanks.

All MRAs for Garegga core show "No RBF found", but I have the RBF in the Arcade core section.

Nevermind, figured it out. Gotta remember to grab MRA from the raw file and not the link.

Re: Variable Refresh Rate support added thanks to zakk4223

Works well on my LG C1. Arcade cores with weird off spec refresh rates which use to stutter while scrolling are now smooth. It didn't fix issues with Atari 2600/7800 core while playing 2600 games unfortunately. I still hope the 7800 core gets an optional buffer for finicky 2600 games that change lines on the fly. Nevermind, it seems the best option...

MGS is my favorite game of all time, so that is obviously #1.

English Translation of Policenauts is highly recommended.

All the Resident Evil Games are classics.

Wipeout XL and Wipeout 3 SE are great racing games to check out if you want something a bit different than Gran Turismo and Ridge Racer games.

Re: What Do Some of Those PSX Core Options Do?

Thanks Paul. What about if using vsync_adjust=0? Are those hblank/vblank settings still necessary? I know you asked Paul, but you still want to keep hblank turned on since it pretty much corrects aspect ratio for games. Vblank might still come in handy even when using vsync_adjust=0, especially if you want to fill the image better vertically for s...

It's actually 1280x1440p and then you pixel repeat to achieve 2560x1440p.

Re: MiSTer Multisystem Handheld Prototype 'Handy'

The one thing that handheld could really benefit from would be for a way to make the OSD Menu bigger since the screen is only 5".

I also believe this thing really needs to be a hybrid solution considering the price point I assume you'd have to sell this at.

Yep, enjoying the heck out of Virtua Racing and Virtua Fighter. Both ports are really well done considering the hardware limitations of 32x. Virtua Racing Deluxe is definitelty a huge upgrade over the Genesis release that uses the SVP chip. BirdyBro also said the rewritten VDP on 32x core might benefit the Genesis core, so hopefully someone ports t...

Re: SG-1000 Support in Both Colecovision and Master System Cores Redundant?

I believe that Sega Mark III's backwards compatibility with SG-1000 software is not perfect on real hardware. Due to ColecoVision and SG-1000 being almost sibling systems with just slightly different specs, it would make sense for Coleco core eventually becoming closer to a real SG-1000 console than going through Master System's backwards compatib...

SG-1000 Support in Both Colecovision and Master System Cores Redundant?

Just my opinion, but it seems redundant that SG-1000 is featured in both Colecovision and Master System cores. Also, more interesting is that SG-1000 performs better on Coleco core than SMS core (i.e. less games with graphical glitches). I think ideally Sega systems should be combined and Coleco should be its own thing. There was no SG-1000 adapter...

Re: 2560x1440p Resolution Possible on MiSTer?

You could actually try 2160x1440 (with reduced blanking) as a resolution, the pixel clock would be similar to the currently supported 2048x1536 mode. Although, you might be up against the default resolution limit here, but there is an ultrawide 2p GBA fork that greatly expands that. Pixel doubling also isn't ideal because you are looking at a 9x s...

Don't we have 1440p already ? Mode 13 is 1536p which is actually higher at a 4/3 ratio. Edit: oh wait I get what you mean, the 1440p that we have is only 1920 by 1440p. I guess more choices the better! Exactly, unfortunately if you try to scale GBA to hit a full 1440p in the 1920x1440p mode there is not enough horizontal resolution for i...

2560x1440p Resolution Possible on MiSTer?

Mike Chi recently has been playing around with a 2560x1440p resolution mode in some experimental firmware builds for the Retrotink 5x Pro and he was thinking that the MiSTer might be able to do it using pixel repetition on the HDMI chip to hit that resolution. This resolution would work great for the GBA core with its 3:2 aspect ratio resolution of...

I know this might not be the answer you are looking for, but honestly this game is best played using Dual Analog Sticks. If you have a DS3/DS4 or DualSense just use that and you'll have a great experience. They are also super low latency when hooked up via a cable.

I think requiring a phone number just to join a gaming server is a bit over the top.
