Re: Sega 32X Core
Im using Antonio villena's s-video with analog io board to a 14" CRT the colors are washed out / inaccurate / lots of flickering on this core... anyone else? Tried switching the physical switch from auto to ovr on io, still doesnt fix it. Looks fine over HDMI to my flat screen. I am experiencing exactly the same thing with my s-video signal (...

Re: Getting a preconfigured MiSTer
- there are lists of controllers that work with the MiSTer. They are all mappable by core, so if it works on MiSTer at all itll work with every core. Just google mister compatible controllers and find one you like for the games you're interested in. - the primary benefits of the IO board are the active cooling, the VGA output (for CRTs or monitors)...

Re: Any good widescreen 15Hz games?
Another option to consider for getting retro-style games on modern systems to play on CRTs would be using a downscaler. For example, the RT5X has some downscaling options included in its firmware. It takes some setup and some extra hardware, the "my life in gaming" YouTube channel did a long video walking through setting it up. Not sure i...

Re: Brand new MiSTer SD card drive seems to not work
I would recommend going to YouTube, searching "how to setup a MiSTer FPGA" and watch one of the step by step guides. I just typed it in now and I see 4 or 5 videos that people have done that should help you. I would also recommend confirming which SD card slot you have been using. There is an SD card slot on the IO board that is meant for...

Re: Autosave
The Everdrives have a similar issue. With the 64x5 the save won't be retained if you turn the console off, it's only retained if you reset the console which gives the cartridge the chance to commit the save. The x7 instead holds the data separately and commits it to the SD card the next time the console is powered on (my understanding of this may b...

Re: MiSTer Multisystem - All-in-One System
This looks like a really cool project. Is there a web link or social media link I should be following for more updates on this as it develops further? Also, I see a bunch of the I/O options and features, its not clear from these pictures does it also incorporate other modules like the RAM, RTC, etc? It might be that I've just missed earlier posts t...

Re: Memtest and false positives
Neo Geo I've maybe put in 20 mins max before resetting into metal slug 1&2. Some slowdown with a lot of sprites (as expected though...)
I think you've answered the question though in that it's not possible for there to be a false positive, and even if I havent noticed it yet there will be a problem at some point.
Thanks, appreciate the response.

Memtest and false positives
Hi there. Not sure if this is the right place for this question, happy to move it if there is a more appropriate category. My setup that I got last month is running great with a 128 ram board, IOboard, and powered usb. Played for hours at a time on various things without issue. Except... the memtest is giving awful results (drops to 70mhz as soon a...

Help with TRS-80 Please
Hi there. I'm very new to classic computer emulation, and this is my first post on these forums, so please forgive me if something about my question below is ignorant in any way. I've included some basic information about my setup, hopefully this helps narrow down what might be going on. I'm trying to get the TRS-80 core to work. The About page say...
