Re: MiSTer Extensions - Remote

Some feature suggestions:

  • rom upload
  • config ini up/download, e.g. for backup and/or testing
  • option to disable showing console and computer cores when they don't have any indexed roms/images

Re: MiSTer Extensions - Remote

Only just got around to trying this out, I've spent ten minutes with it so far and I had to post straight away. This is legendary, a game changer for me. As someone who is always dicking about with video settings this will make my life so much easier. Also, the indexing/search feature is just awesome!

Well done, this is great, I love it!

Re: tty2rgbmatrix

This Interstate 75 W looks interesting, comes with Pico W included and plugs straight into a HUB75 panel, apparently. I know it's not ESP32 but might get one to play with.

I have created out of the tty2oled project a simple script daemon called tty2x
which sends nothing more than the Corename to the configured tty device.
This is great, just tested (disabling tty2oled first) and all working as described!

Thanks!!

Re: tty2rgbmatrix

Solved it. Realised that in the serial output the game name being passed to the script was garbled (despite it appearing correct on the panel) so looked further into the tty2oled config then realised that the USBMODE option defaults to "yes", meaning that it attempts to retrieves the image from the Mister instead of the ESP32s local stora...

Re: tty2rgbmatrix

Hey all, was hoping someone has advice for a problem I'm having getting this awesome project to work. Powering up the ESP32 Trinity correctly shows the default animated mister gif (I dropped the 1942 and Golden Axe gifs to to keep within storage limits), and when starting a supported game (Black Tiger, Centipede etc.) I can see the commands from tt...

Re: Analogue IO board v6.0 with missing User port pins

Thanks Nat. I just realised I bought some bits from you recently for my two Misters, although unfortunately I did not get my analogue IO boards from you. Lesson learned for next time! :-)

Re: Analogue IO board v6.0 with missing User port pins

I can now answer this myself, the answer is YES! I had some spare headers knocking about so slotted one in (unsoldered) and tested it and it works fine. Tested it successfully with the SNES and NES adapters but no joy with the Megadrive adapter, I've seen somewhere that the IO board needs an additional mod but so far have been unable to locate deta...

Analogue IO board v6.0 with missing User port pins

Hi all

I have an Analogue IO board (v6.0) with the User port pins missing.

Was wondering if I can resolve this myself by soldering in a 10 pin header or if there is anything else to it?

Cheers
