I just used update_all

Every thing works as it should. Thanks to the developer!

It updated and all work as it should for me too. Hooray!

I had to manually download the rbf from the github and install it to get the core to work

This did the trick for me, thanks for the tip!

Re: Jaleco Psychic 5 Has Been Released!

I haven’t updated in a couple weeks, but after running update_all neither Psychic 5 core works. I took a look at the mra’s but they looked fine to me. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I also tried updating the Japan ROM manually with no luck either. Hopefully this will be sorted soon. Re: 9.7" iPad Retina Screen Perfect for MiSTer, $60 Fully Assembled 😄

I finally picked one of these up during the recent AliExpress anniversary sale and it arrived yesterday with some serious scratches on the screen, especially on the right side. When it was on it looked okay, and didn't exhibit any of the light leak problems others have had. But I didn't pay for a scratched up screen so I returned it. Not sure if I'...

Re: MiSTer FPGA with an SSD

My setup has been using a MASE - MiSTer Attached SATA Enclosure from Retro Frog (available at https://stoneagegamer.com/mase-mister-a ... -frog.html), along with a 2TB SSD I picked up during the Amazon Prime sale earlier this year to replace a 2TB mechanical drive I was using. Works great and I have no complaints. Good luck!

Thanks for posting this OP! I passed on it at full retail, but for $20 I'll give it a shot.

Re: PSX Controller Advice

I got myself a DS5 last week after I saw it recommended in another thread on this forum, and it works splendid here out of the box (using it wired, not over bt). Perhaps the d-pad takes some time to get used to, otherwise it is one of the better controllers for sure. I did the same thing as I had a Best Buy reward certificate I needed to use and t...

Re: USB Hard Drive Problems

I got myself a new power supply, a Mean Well GST60A05-P1J that was suggested in another thread and the WD portable HDD still would not work with my Mister. So I'm pretty sure this hard drive is just not compatible. The old externally powered Seagate I have works flawlessly though so I'll just stick to that. I do notice that my Mister now connects t...

Re: USB Hard Drive Problems

Maybe, if you can, try a different hard drive to see if that's the issue. I dug out an old externally powered Seagate hard drive, and surprisingly enough it worked like a charm. I was hoping to use the smaller portable one to save space and only have one plug to power everything. Do you think a larger power supply would do the trick? Thanks for al...

Re: USB Hard Drive Problems

hope you get it working, I've tried my MISTer using two different Seagate USB3, 2.5inch drives (not externally powered) and both worked. It was a pain setting it up - i did trial and error really, moving directories around until it worked. What directory structure ended up working for you? I'm still at a loss of how to get my Mister to see the har...

Re: USB Hard Drive Problems

On the MiSTer main menu do you see a switch USB option? is this a portable USB drive that is portable and does not need external power? The switch USB option is greyed out and can't be selected. This is a portable USB drive that isn't externally powered. It's a WD easystore. I'm starting to think maybe I need a 5 amp power supply? I haven't been a...

USB Hard Drive Problems

I finally got around to picking up an external USB drive for my Mister but I'm having a hard time getting it to work. I created the directory games/MegaCD on the root of the hard drive, and deleted the games/MegaCD folder off my SD card. But when I try to launch Sega CD games from the core I get a directory not found error. I tried this with my har...
