Captain America & the Avengers wasn't someone making this core?

Remember seeing a post about this a while back. I'd like to find out his name so I can follow his website or social media for progress on this core.

Does the Saturn port have extra features over the CPS2 version?

Sega Saturn version of X-Men Vs Street Fighter & MSHvsSF

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Saturn version offer additional colors? For instance Rogue had a yellow and blue palette swap. Was this exclusive to Saturn or was it in the Japanese PS1 version as well? I couldn't find it on any North American release be it Arcade or the busted PS1 version (US). Those versions Rogues alt color was only red a...

Don't know about you guys, but I'm still stoked to play X-Men vs Street Fighter should we be so lucky for it be get fixed! I realize the issues that it's having and submitted them to Github, I beta tested what I could. I feel like one day we'll get to a time where we can play all of the Saturn games on both MiSTer and MARS without any sound issues,...

From the games I tested only four dont work properly: Marvel SuperHeroes vs Street Fighter, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Shienryu and Shining the Holy Ark... maybe there some others too, but I think the compatibility is close to 95% working now.

Also had trouble with said games. I'm sure our great Srg will have the bugs ironed out at some point

Re: Duke Nukem Atomic Edition Malfunctioning

Strange, I do not remember Duke Nukem 3D ever needing a CD, even the Atomic Edition. But either way, remember to use DOS32A to replace DOS4GW or it will probably not run into errors, other than this one. Make sure the CD is in the drive it expects it to be or try reinstalling the game. The Atomic Edition needs the CD to be in the drive. How strang...

Menu hides the error, so no one will be able to help you

Surely there's gotta be a way to find out what's wrong.

Here I screen grabbed this, does this picture tell of anything?

Duke Nukem Atomic Edition Malfunctioning

Hopefully the video will clue you guys in on what's wrong, I can't make heads or tails of it. There anyway I can get the core to generate me an error report or some kind of ini that I may post here? The game used to work, now all of a sudden it refuses to cooperate.

Hey guys! Noticed the title on this topic changed to (Updated to 2.0.2 MyMenu) I would like nothing more now to switch those games over from TDL to MyMenu. I suppose this would mean I wouldn't need TDL anymore and am glad to dump it for the new and improved launcher. That said I appreciate what the TDL had to offer and am ready to move on So how do...

Re: Battletoads

@Captain FPGA Thanks for the files. I was surprised when you said the files loaded automatically. To do so a mra would be necessary but now I see that your mgl acts as some sort of mra. One thing I do not understand yet is the location of your Battletoads directory. I will try when I am back home. I won't use the Arcade directory as you did but th...

This is really weird. Could you post your mgl? Did you place the Battletoads directory in games or games/mame? I tried to make it work like you did but the files do not load automaticxally. Certainly! Glad to help. I put Battletoads directory at the root though. So just /media/fat Both mgl and rbf are the same files from Terminator2k2's test build...

But you still have to load the 3 bin files manually. Here's the weird part, I did not have to load the three bin files manually. I simply booted the game, set my button config, and switch the service button to yes. Worked like a dream! :ugeek: EDIT: One other thing, I was performing a series of tests to see what's needed and not needed. Simply to ...

Re: Battletoads

Figured out how to get it working. Renamed the 3 files to bin within the btoads dot zip Placed the mgl file in the arcade folder Placed the rgf in arcade cores folder Put the btoads.zip in the games ===> mame Using this method, I was unable to get the rom to work. So instead, I did placed the 3 bin files in their own folder titled Battletoads. Then...

Re: Battletoads

No CRT here so I cannot say. From MISTer resolution display it says for native mode: 512x224 15.63KHz 60.8 Hz Does you CRT can do it? It seems to run every other core and game on the MiSTer. If the res is higher like TMNT which starts at 320x224 at 15.63kHz it will just convert to 640x240 at like 12 kHz... I assume it handles it, it's supposed to ...

Re: TMNT Core Beta Release Finally Available!

I'm getting some very noticeable blanking interference when running this core. Very curious since I don't get that when running other beat-em-up cores like Alien vs Predator. This is the only core I could find that does this. I can't really tell if it's my PVM or the core itself! I realize the core is in beta so if the blanking is a known issue I h...

@Captain FPGA: Time for heavy surgery to revive the patient.
Delete the rbf.
Delete the 2 main mras and the alternatives corresponding to these 2 mras.
Delete mia.zip and tmnt.zip from games/mame.
Run the update all script.

On it!

EDIT: Just to let you know the surgery was successful!

Great stuff the music is even there!

I love it when someone cries "Help! I've got an error." but they are the only one knowing what the error is. You know what? Your right. I should have screen shotted the error before posting.
