Re: N64 Core
Two of Factor 5 N64 games, Indiana Jones and Star Wars Battle of Naboo is missing some letters(graphics?) in main screen... is it have some config to fix this? I can get the missing graphics back in Indiana Jones (haven't tried Battle of Naboo) in two ways, on the latest core by increasing SDRAM timing to 48 or 64, but that makes games micro stutt...

Re: N64 Core
I have also run into this yesterday when i made further changes. I don't understand why it's sometimes there and mostly not. As my new build has this 100% of the time, i can easily research it and i will fix it. I don't have a solution ready, but i can promise you to look into it after the christmas days. Thank you, Robert! I have downloaded the l...

Re: N64 Core
I don't know if any of the MiSTer unstables include the req changes, I'm using specifically the one from test builds in the discord that was listed next to the N64 core that added the fast load feature, try this one also and power cycle off/on (not just soft reboot) the system Also the N64 config file layout changed some days back and it requires ...

Re: N64 Core
Since the new fast ROM load feature was enabled, I have noticed that I can no longer chain load games. With the slow ROM loader, I was able to load a game, play it, then load another game, play it, etc. Now I can fast load the first game but when I try to load a second game, the screen freezes and no amount of reloading the ROM or any other ROM wil...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
It definitely does NOT look like that for me. I have ran GEOS128 several times since my last post just to see if I could make it glitch but the screen looks rock solid to me. I ran it from cold boot, from warm boot, switched to another core and back to the C128 and ran GEOS128 again and I could not make the screen glitch at all. {EDIT} I run JiffyD...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
Never mind, greedy me read the part where REU and GeoRAM do not conflict so I enabled both. GEOS hates having REU and GeoRAM enabled at the same time, so I disabled the REU and now it boots up. I toyed around with it a bit and it seems to be fine, no video instability or graphical glitches that I could see in both 40 column and 80 column modes. Ple...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
Nice. Thanks guys. Was planning on releasing yesterday but found a last-minute bug. A weird one even. Could you guys check GEOS 128 in 80-col mode? For me, the video output is sometimes unstable. Weird thing is, when I recompile with signaltap, it's stable :| So there might be some issue in the synthesis where the result depends on randomness duri...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
I also compiled the source code today and I have been running a few demos in c128 mode and wow, it's like day and night. I can now set the scale to full screen and vertical crop to yes so the screen real estate is now much better utilized and screen centering is dramatically improved. Thanks erik5 for the improvements! Also, for those who compile t...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
Thanks deadlocked, changing those settings fixed the problem. It’s unfortunate though that it makes the screen significantly smaller on the HDMI output. For now I will just use the old version of the core, and keep an eye on newer versions to see if this improves. Anyway I am super happy to have a C128 as I did as a kid! And I appreciate your help...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
Thanks for the advice deadlocked, I tried re-copying both the main MiSTer file and the C128 core, and I checked the SD card for errors & found none. I also tried previous versions of both the MiSTer file and the C128 core. I found that: MiSTer 20230423 + C128 20230325 => Corrupt 80 column display MiSTer 20230223 + C128 20230325 => Corrupt 80 c...

Re: Commodore 128 for the MiSTer?
Just ran update_all and it seems 80 column mode is not working for me now, over HDMI. MiSTer v230423, C128 v230325. When I switch to 80 column mode, the screen is corrupted. Anyone else having the same problem? Hi burntweasel. I am on the latest main MiSTer (20230423), the latest C128 core (20230325) and I updated my kernel today. I am not seeing ...
