I have 3 questions: * Does the BIOS "boot.rom" need to be in the CIFS mounted folder as well ? * Do you mount it inside a "games" folder eg: /media/cifs/games/PSX or /media/cifs/PSX ? * How do people do this for usb eg: /media/usbX/games/PSX or /media/usbX/PSX ? Semi-unrelated but I don't put any roms on the SD or an externally connected drive. All roms are mounted via the CIFS script. It works great even for large PSX bin/cue.

Mentioning it here because I don't think many folks know about it and the need for networked or external drives will become more important with PSX and soon'ish Saturn support.

Plug the module in there, flip one of the switches on the DE-10, and you're set. PSX core runs on single RAM, with improvements with two sticks. Based on what we can see in the nightly builds now, single RAM for PSX is a shoe in, and the second stick will likely just be for some performance improvement. Folks seem to really obsess over the lack of FPU in AO486 but there are almost no games in the 486 era that make use of an FPU. The FPU didn't really get used in gaming until Pentium era games and they wouldn't run well on AO486.
