Latest Nightly Setup Tutorial + Performance Report
I believe I've done my due diligence, please pardon me if I have not. I'm hoping to make a post to consolidate the PSX core installation process for anyone wishing to try it out. Please tell me what I've misunderstood or if any of these steps are unnecessary. It's beta, but I have no sound. Is there supposed to be sound? I've done this drill twice....

I ran into this issue after a clean format. To fix the pink/ purple hue, the ypbpR option must be enabled in /media/fat/MiSTer.ini. It's off by default.

Castlevania save states are working between cold boots for me. I did a fresh installation and update last night. How long has it been for you?

Pi4 has composite built in. This is a huge benefit over the mister. It's also full of crap retro distros that will riddle your mind with configuring. Less money. Pi4 is awesome for all the other stuff it can do, but the input lag is insane compared to Mister. It has runahead and some other aids for lag though. Also, you won't be connecting your Pi...

Quick question. I too experienced weird issues with mapping buttons on my 8bitdo PCE 2.4ghz (uses adapter) controller. It has four buttons, but I can only map two of them. I've decided it's because the original equipment featured not four unique buttons, but two buttons that were simply turbos of the lower two buttons, thus I can't map them for SNE...
