Re: VHD format?
Thanks and good to know. I made the following test: Under MISTer I created a 100MB file named Test.vhd using dd. I started AO486 with a DOS floppy and Test.vhd as the first HD. I used FDISK to create a partition, formatted it using format c: /s and copied all the dos files to it. I unmounted the floppy and booted from Test.vhd without any problem....

Re: Menu selector moves by itself on boot
Yeah in the end it might just be easier to get another compatible wifi dongle since it might be a specific HW gremlin

Re: Menu selector moves by itself on boot
I reverted back to mister v20210829 and the issue does not ocurr so something changed from that version to 20210906 (which i think it is the most recent one). Also it seems to be happening when my wi fi dongle (TL-WN725N) initializes. If i take it out or if i plug it in once the mister is already booted to the main menu, the selector moves up a spo...

Menu selector moves by itself on boot
After updating my mister yesterday i noticed that when i turn the mister on, the menu comes up as normal but the selector which seats by default on the "arcade" tab starts moving up (which actually brings it down) to "utilities" and sometimes one space further up to "other" all by itself. At this time i have no gamepas...

Setting a keyboard function button to gamepad?
Hello guys. I have been dabbling in the minimig core and was tring to get all the necessary buttons to work on a gamepad instead of plugging my keyboard and mouse to the mister. I have managed to get the mouse emulated on the gamepad but i really needed to get the F5 keyboard key to be somehow defined on the gamepad either by a button or a combinat...

Re: Recent Linux Update Caused Issues With Input Devices
I never thought to give the firmware update a try because the devices kept dropping on and off. I'll try it and see if it works for me too! Although I ended up ordering an 'official' usb hub because I only used the blister because it had a power switch (which broke anyways.....) Someone on the classic gaming discord had a similar issue just now an...

Re: Recent Linux Update Caused Issues With Input Devices
Do you happen to be using a Blister instead of a usb hub? I am using a blisster. Is there something i can do to fix the issue? I had the same issue with my blister. There's something broken in the new update that makes the kernel go absolutely nuts trying to deal with 'blissbox' ports. My log is full of this: [ 1247.607320] hid-generic 0003:16D0:0...

Recent Linux Update Caused Issues With Input Devices
My mister has been working flawlessly but yesterday i noticed my wi-fi was not working. After troubleshooting i found that since the linux update, the dongle i was using ( TL-WN725N which nedded a module installation) required a new module to work on the new 5.13.12. Since i dont have the skill to compile it myself, i bought a new dongle which has ...
