uh. Sometimes you just need to make sure the colour is not set to zero :/

realised that even the tv menus were b&w. reset tv to default settings and got colour back.

As title says. I've got the IO board with VGA, connecting it to a 2002 25" CRT TV with SCART cable, and i've set mister.ini composite_sync=1.

If I connect mister to an LCD TV that has scart input, then colour works fine.

Is there another setting for RGB, or do I need to set something specific in the TV menu?

I tried setting jspoll/cpad polling to 2 yesterday--in case controllers can't handle 1000Hz polling. Don't know if that's logical but I've got a very vague memory from many years ago that some USB products didn't play well if you highered the polling too much in Windows.
