Re: Nintendo Style Controllers
So I have a USB wired 'Saffun' controller - it works perfectly (as one might expect) WITH ONE EXCEPTION! That exception is that the analogue stick appears to reach 100% at about 70-80% through its rotation. So sometimes games can feel a bit more twitchy than id say the original was like. There is a wireless controller by Saffun, which, has been rep...

Re: ZX Spectrum Core - Reading Games from Tape
Yeah just a note that my parts came today and I also made a cable with basically 1K between line and ground. This changed it from not working to... working which was quite satisfying

Re: ZX Spectrum Core - Reading Games from Tape
Looks like the perfect thread for me, i have exactly the opposite problem. I can get the MiSTer to tape load using an app from my phone. It works perfectly. I came across a Sony TCM-939 at a Thrift store for CAD$10 and picked it up to give it a try. Issue i get seems to be the coupling as stated. From the phone, on the ADC tester the line comes in ...

Re: MiSTer Not In A Shell Static Shock From My Finger Fried It
With the old SD card, you should check if it is actually writable. Sometimes if there is a problem, SD cards will basically turn read only. The way to check this is to open the mister.ini file, change something save it, close the editor and then open it again. If the changes kept then its probably fine. Just reflash the SD card and see if it boots ...

Re: Exile Smooth Scrolling
I tested this last night on the MegaAGM image i use, both in pal and ntsc modes and i found it to smooth just as well as i always rememebred. no screen tarring for example or missing pixels. I did notice that sprites sometimes appear to ghost a bit, but i think that is more to do with my rubbish old monitor than anything else. My original memory of...

Analogue Joystick Input?
Hi all I was wondering if the Minimig core made use of the analog inputs on controllers. I know for example a few flight sims would include settings to turn on analog control, or just use them when available. Rolling on many years Analog sticks are somewhat quite easy to come by either in controller form or actual flight sticks. Was just wondering ...

Re: Cannot get anything to work since the PSX rename
Not totally sure but can this be the vsync option you are using in the ini settings for the Mister. There are 3, 0 Match Display 1 Match Core 3 Low latency I had my mister on Match core, so that basically if the core changed from say NTSC to PAL it would change the Vsync with it... as best i understand (i am no expert) This was totally fine for me,...

Cannot get anything to work since the PSX rename
Hi Everyone Iv been following the development of this core for a while, was super excited to test things and managed to get a few games working (albeit already tested working by others) The newest unstable nightly core (In this case 21.12.20) When i start the core, it boots gives the usual sony splash screen and loads into the memory card manager/C...
