The Creativision for one, and the Atari XEGS was probably the most blurred line home computer/console I can think of off the top of my head. 8-bit era had a few experimental consoles were kind of inbetweens designed to take keyboard and even tape loading modules out of the box

These aio are getting stale already, plus the small footprint of the original setup is much more appealing (to me at least) Speak for yourself :D I find cable management from every angle pretty much negates the "small footprint" of the stack! Personally I'm just waiting on availability between this and the heber board! I always speak for...
