Answering my own question for anyone coming here in the future because of the same problem.
I downloaded this file
to /etc/ssl/certs/

Problem with curl/ssl
Hi fellow Misters. Just got a Mister (complete setup from ultimate mister). Problem is when i try to run update all some parts fail because of curl error 77 " error setting certificate verify locations:" I guess this is not a problem with the update script but some system wide config i need to change?
