Re: Install Older Version of Main

Link for the Main MiSTer you can swap out: https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_MiSTer/tree/master/releases Maybe one of the unstable builds might help resolve your issue: https://github.com/MiSTer-unstable-nightlies/Main_MiSTer/releases/tag/unstable-builds (Scroll to the bottom to grab the latest and rename the file to MiSTer before copying it over)

Re: SMB/CIFS Mount

Really? How I wish you were here 2 years ago, you could've saved me a lotta cash and time with this helpful advice. *eyeroll* These kind of preachy, elitist attitudes are the reason why so many people stay away from the FPGA scene. Not that it really needs explaining, but there are limited hours in the day, especially for an adult with a job/famil...

Re: Recommended Scripts?

Not a script but a cool customisation for your MiSTer in case anyone missed or wasn't aware. User uberyoji has made a few boot ROMs to make launching the console cores interesting. https://github.com/uberyoji/mister-boot-roms NES NES.gif SNES snes.gif Nintendo Gameboy gameboy.gif NEC PC Engine pce.gif Sega Master System sms.gif

Re: ISO support has gone - for good?

Here is a good resource for PS1 chdman: https://i12bretro.github.io/tutorials/0323.html In your case download chdman here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_-ZhXmJnIteJNcKcX7LRU8T9zXeLWeL8/view?usp=sharing In windows create a batch file with this code and drop it in the same dir as your ISO's: for /r %%i in (*.iso) do chdman createcd -i "%%i&q...

Recommended Scripts?

Hi All, I couldn't find a 1-stop resource to show all the scripts people have created for the Mister and was wondering if anyone wants to share/highlight any they use in their setup? The ones I use: Update All: https://github.com/theypsilon/Update_All_MiSTer PSX Unstable-Nightlies: https://github.com/Akuma-Git/misterfpga Mister Super Attract Mode: ...

Re: Some Scripts Stop Working For No Reason At All From Time To Time

I found the WiFi to be flaky on my Mister. I can connect to the WiFi access point and receive an IP address. If I'm not quick enough to do a network operation it simply blacks out and won't let me either run update scripts or connect to a CIFS. The wifi dongle itself appears to be fine if I use it on another device and was unable to replicate the i...
