DIP settings for (Out Zone) and (Truxton - Tatsujin) main mra's does not seem to be working after latest update. Games remain in Japan region no matter what is set in DIP

Re: Golden Axe Starts in Service Mode

Its been like that for a long time. On github jotego mentioned somewhere that the bug is somehow related to him merging several versions of the system16 core into a single rbf file. But it is probably a low priority bug for him.

Re: Irem M92 Core Available

Can somebody try playing the fighting game "Superior Soldiers"? I can't get it to work, it crashes soon after the fight begins. It was working fine with the older version of the core.

After replacing main MiSTer file with latest unstable it works, so yeah that was it.

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

After updating to this new version of the core I now have no luck launching any game at all. After selecting the game there's a bios intro scene, then it says "checking the disk format" and nothing happens after that. Does anybody have any issues or is it just me? Maybe well have to wait for the new unstable MiSTer main build as before.

Don't you guys think that it is not for you to decide for developers on what they want to spend their time. Its their time not yours.

Re: HDMI Display Not Centered

I'd suggest just using "Interpolation (Sharp).txt" filter for every core globally. Instead of integer scaling. You will probably not see any difference in quality, but every game will be scaled to the same size (when using the "normal" as the setting in each core).

Re: PSX Compatibility List

I've been playing with filtering recently, and noticed that it's not applied to the outer edges of semi transparent textures, like the edges of the trees on the screenshots above, or the hole in the barrel in GEX2 main menu. Is this by design? Or some kind of a MiSTer hardware limitation?

Re: Zero Wing by Toaplan Arcade Core Released

Very interesting, the game runs kinda too fast at 58Hz, but fits much better on the screen. I have a follow up question regarding OutZone and its output on a CRT. Compared to other games using this core the picture is shifted down too much, I can't even fix this using the V-sync Adjust option, the allowed range of adjustment is not enough. Even at ...

Re: MiSTer Downloader Tool

Hi, first I'd like to say big thanks for all the work by theypsilon for this great tool, and his continuous development of it. Currently my favorite feature is 'Download Filters', really helpful for keeping the setup clean. But I have a question, regarding the 'palettes' filter term. I don't have it in my downloader.ini but every time it runs it ke...

Re: Jotego Confirms CPS3 / PGM / Mortal Kombat

Plus, working on CPS3 right now would be a fool's errand, because it shares the same CPU as Saturn, so might as well wait until srg320 is finished with Saturn and use his code as a very strong base. Correct me if I'm wrong but wikipedia states that there is an open source "cleanroom reimplemention" of the SH-2 CPU for FPGA's already done...
