I think you have to manually map the PSX core buttons since they extend beyond the scope of buttons mapped in the MiSTer menu core.

Ahhhh ok. That makes total sense!

Done. Thanks for answering the silly questions :D

PSX Core, SN30 PRO, L2 R2 Buttons not functioning

Hi all, I'm attempting to use an 8bitdo SN30 PRO Bluetooth controller with a USB-C cable connected with the Mister PSX core. I'm having an issue with the L2 and R2 buttons not functioning. All other buttons and analogue sticks work properly. I downloaded PadTest by Shendo to test with. Controller is powered in X_Input mode. Went through all control...

Re: PSX Core Audio and Video stutters twice every 3-4 seconds - All Games

Stuttering means the game pauses, because the linux part(mister main) is not fast enough to provide CD data. Makes total sense! Initially I was thinking this was a data read issue with CD audio since that would be read on the fly (original Playstation hardware) but since there was a video issue as well I incorrectly assumed that this wouldn't be a...

PSX Core Audio and Video stutters twice every 3-4 seconds - All Games

Hoping someone else has seen this. I'm running into an issue where regardless of the game, the Audio and Video stutters twice (in sync) every 3-4 seconds while a game is playing. This is the first time I've tried the PSX core. I just ran the Update All script so I should be on the newest version. I tried loading games from both the internal SD card...

Re: Rogue button presses RetroBit 6-Button Wired Controller

I do appreciate your response. I was convinced I had never used the controller on Mister. But your response made me double check. Went into /Config/inputs and found several files with the joystick ID in question (silly me). Deleted all config files that contained my joystick ID. After a quick mapping at the main Mister core and Genesis Core, no mor...

Rogue button presses RetroBit 6-Button Wired Controller

Hi All, I'm running into an issue and cant seem to find much info on it. I'm using a Retrobit 8 button Wired USB controller. I've mapped it without issue in the main Mister core and successfully mapped it in the Genesis core. But when trying to use the controller, some button presses are registering as hitting two buttons within the Genesis core. I...
