Some/many pictures should be okay if stretched or resized, but it makes sense to include an option to keep the aspect ratio per default. I'll prepare an update to this. Thanks for reporting!

EDIT: Implemented

:o Wow, that was fast! Works great. Thanks again!

Re: tty2rpi Add-On (shows core based pictures and videos on a HDMI or DSI display)

Which one did you order? I'm always interested in the used hardware of my users... I got this 24" display from Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PRC26C3 ) because it had almost perfect dimensions for my cabinet. But, as you'll notice, the aspect ratio is not the same as the standard arcade marquee art. Is there any chance we could get a s...

Congrats, you've found a bug which I have fixed now.

Once again, thank you! Everything seems to be running properly now. Can't wait to see how this looks when my marquee monitor arrives.

Do you have a Patreon or other way I can support your projects?

Re: tty2rpi Add-On (shows core based pictures and videos on a HDMI or DSI display)

Actually, I'm still having issues. My tty2rpi-user.ini file looks like this: SCREENSAVER="no" # Set to "yes" to enable screensaver mode on display IPTIMEOUT="0" # Seconds to show the IP information I ran the update script on both the RPi and MiSTer but the screen saver is still appearing every 2 minutes and the IP info...

Re: tty2rpi Add-On (shows core based pictures and videos on a HDMI or DSI display)

Your solution are the lines SCREENSAVER*** of file tty2rpi.ini you should take over to a file named tty2rpi-user.ini (create that file next to tty2rpi.ini if it doesn't exist). tty2rpi.ini , which contains all default values, shouldn't be edited as this file will be overwritten at next update...hence the hint of If you want to change a setting bel...

Re: tty2rpi Add-On (shows core based pictures and videos on a HDMI or DSI display)

Amazing project! I got it up and running this weekend and am waiting on a nice marquee sized monitor to arrive for my custom cabinet. One question: The marquee temporarily switches over to a digital clock every so often. It only last a few seconds but I'd like to disable this. I didn't see anything in the documentation or INI files. Any ideas? p4SA...

Enable debounce: https://github.com/MickGyver/DaemonBite ... no#L29-L30

That did the trick! Thank you. Do you suggest tweaking the DEBOUNCE_TIME or leaving it at the 10ms default?

Re: "Define joystick buttons" too sensitive for combos?

I'm still having this problem and unable to define my custom DaemonBite controller. I captured some video footage showing the issue: https://youtu.be/oMiaPx_cQzg

Specifically look at time-codes 0:28, 0:44 and 1:20 to see where its quickly skipping over some inputs. It defines them all to the last button pressed.

Re: "Define joystick buttons" too sensitive for combos?

I'm running into a similar, but different, problem trying to map a custom built arcade controller. I'm also using "Define joystick buttons" in main menu. I'm using DaemonBite-Arcade-Encoder. I can define most of the buttons no problem but when it reaches certain buttons (like the mouse or menu buttons) it seems to be registering one butto...

Re: Joust 2: Survival of the Fittest Arcade Core Released

A possibility? Yes. But it's not currently implemented in the core, manually adding v-flip for the analog output often requires a decent amount of work, it's been added to a handful of cores and only by alanswx and jimmystones I believe. I looked into it for someone else the other day and the original arcade system didn't have it, the core that I ...

Re: Adventure Vision

I'm seeing a big gap in the image when using the Adventure Vision core. Screen shot:

I've tried a couple different video modes and other settings, but not having any luck. Does anyone have any ideas?

No worries. Thanks for checking! I also haven't been able to get this version running on MAME either, which is too bad because it's supposed to have a built in level-editor which I've always wanted to check out.

Re: Bubble Bobble

Thanks for posting those screen shots.
I found this setting in some of the Bubble Bobble roms but the one I'm specifically interested in (Prototype on Tokio Hardware) does not have that option and I'm getting a black screen when trying to run it. Have you had any luck getting that version to run?

I am also having trouble running some of the alternate roms for Bubble Bobble. But I cannot find this setting for changing rom size in the OSD. Where do I have to look to find this setting? Thanks!
