Isn't this Ali Express Jamma Board an cheaper alternative to the rather expensive Jamma Boards on the market?

Are you able to get the 6 thousand bonus jump?

I have to try. As far as I remember, it was pretty impossible with the original Arcade machine, wasn't it?

Honestly I don't remember. Never made it on emulation.

I have to push the ball very hard to do the bonus jumps in level one (as it was in the arcade) and still do not lose trackball tracking if I push too hard. I never had such a good steering in the last 25 years of marble madness emulation.

. #1 interest would be classic arcade games from 70s - 80s.

Unfortunately this is the time period where most games are buggy, are not working 100% and have wrong or no sound at all, so I can not recommend to buy a MiSter especially for these classic arcade games :-(

Re: Macintosh Plus Setup

Does anybody know how to get the correct screen resolution on a VGA-CRT-Monitor? I guess it should be 512x342 or maybe doubled to 1024x684?

At the moment the picture looks like the core is doubling every 10 or so horizontal line. Would this be fixed with a mode line?

Thanks

Re: Individually Bootable VHDs for Each Game

I tried to fix "The Incredible Machine" with Soundblaster and Mouse, but I was not able to. The issue is: When you configure Soundblaster, as soon as you move the mouse, the keyboard stops working (and of course the mouse too). I tried different Setblaster settings, different autoexec and config.sys and tried a different mouse driver but ...

But in practice it doesn't sound quite as potentially fat and saturated as a good 6581 with an optimal filter. Unfortunately the filters (and as important the two related caps at position C10+C11) are incredibly fickle and vary greatly between not only filter revisions, but rather individual production batches. I think, the title music of „Flimbo‘...

My statement was more around loudness - in the real world, as I remember it, the 6581's 'digital' output was significantly louder than the 8580 with digifix, where the core seems to behave in the opposite manner.

That is my impression too… I have no proof but shouldn‘t it behave in the opposite manner…? Maybe Lagerfeld can really do a test.

I don't remember that the samples in Impossible Mission were very quiet back in the days, or in Space Taxi. My C64 was from '82. So is there something special about the samples in Myth? And what is the deal with this Digifix?

Try temporarily disabling any video filters you have active and setting the refresh rate to 60Hz (versus variable). One or the other is likely the cause. There are no filters. It's a CRT Monitor and I need variable refresh rate for accurate vga modes. But like I said, it's only happening with the latest release so the chance might be high that it ...

No. Just means they haven't added anything new/updated it.

I asked this way because they wrote, that there will only be a very limited number of games built for the 0MHz collection and I was asking myself if the number is already reached.
