Re: tty2tft Soft & Hardware Add-On (shows core based pictures and videos on a color TFT display)

Hi, it's been a while since I dont connected my screens to the mister and when today I'm ready to make the updates, the image turns upside down, as if vertically, if I set rotate to "yes" it's solved but it's completely upside down, which I can solve Physically rotating the screen but... what has changed so that when updating it doesn't s...

Re: 3DO

The 3DO has 2 external SRAMs for VRAM, each of them bigger than internal BRam of the Cyclone 5 FPGA. So don't expect a 100% cycle accurate core with the Mister platform, but that's true for most newer consoles.(Gen5+) CPU side looks better, could probably use a stripped down version from the GBA, as it's an older ARM. Overall it should be possible...

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

I purchased a pre-assembled Mister from ultimatemister.com (this model: https://ultimatemister.com/product/ultimate-mister-pro/ ) and it has XS-D 128MB SDRAM for its memory. The Saturn core is the only core I’ve run into trouble with, and I’ve had a lot of success with every other core I’ve spent time playing around with. Mister's main has been up...

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

I've been trying to get the Sega Saturn Core working over the past month with no luck. The Sega Saturn bootup sequence doesn't begin when I try and load the core (I just get a black screen), and when I try to load any games I get the "CD ROM BIOS NOT FOUND" message. I've tried the unstable nightly rbf files from 12/01 and 11/16 in the co...

That screen looks like Antonio Villena's. They are always the same. with the same error Yes it is. What error? the screen always appears upside down at startup if you don't touch the ini as Venice or Larry have commented, also some suffer from update problems although several people fixed it with prompts, I recommend you keep an eye on Venice and ...

Re: tty2tft Soft & Hardware Add-On (shows core based pictures and videos on a color TFT display)

Update time! I just released the "open binary" 220926 Nothing new for the existing users, but a new experienced user (Thanks @Ahmadexp) bought an ILI9341 SPI based display and got it to run with changes/additions to a few lines of code only. And that's the cause for this update. See the project's documentation for details. The very inter...

Re: i2c2oled (little brother of tty2oled)

New Testing ! If you like to test it, extract the attachment to /media/fat/i2c2oled on your MiSTer. If you like to test the _alt PIX file function add the line USE_RANDOM_ALT="yes" to your i2c2oled-user.ini file. Changes: Run Display Init and show Boot Text only once each System start. Makes an i2c2oled restart much faster. Minor updates...

Re: i2c2oled (little brother of tty2oled)

You can simulate a corechange by open a ssh session and type, Genesis as an example echo „Genesis“ > /tmp/CORENAME wait for the display to complete and then type echo „MENU“ > /tmp/CORENAME and wait again. Repeat this a few times. it worked for me! Although sometimes it doesn't come out as often as you'd like, I had to be more patient. yes it work...

Re: i2c2oled (little brother of tty2oled)

Hi@all, this is a testing version of the i2c2oled-system.ini file to make use of the available alternative PIX files. I have stolen the logic from tty2oled  If you like to test it, extract the attachment to /media/fat/i2c2oled on your MiSTer and add the line USE_RANDOM_ALT="yes" to your i2c2oled-user.ini file. Make a backup of you...

Re: tty2oled Soft&Hardware Add-On (Shows Core based Pictures on a Display)

As Venice says, the screen you show is upside down. Ever since I changed my esp8266 for ttygo 1.8 it's like having upgraded to a mustang 500 and competing with toretto. What seems strange to me is that there is a common denominator for all of you who fail with it, you say that you have been able to update to the latest version of the firmware with ...

The PR was OK now, thanks. But please place the Pix on the correct folder. Use either Pictures/Pix or Pictures/Pix_Onecolor but not the root folder. The next step is to update our Google Sheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GR_8nBq3vY_SGQZ5pxLnU1XFWek1uq8uxNAnj0a4RCU/ See this Post for access: https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?p=294...
