Re: Depricated.

Yes, you were right. I set up my CIFS share using "ao486" instead of "AO486" and that was the problem. Thank you!

Re: Menu OK/Cancel start out reversed, fixed on reboot

I think you nailed it....my config is on a CIFS share, so isn't there yet. I'll move it back.

Re: Depricated.

The update_all script did replace the boot roms and drv folder, but still nothing happens. Does selecting "Reset and apply HDD" actually start the boot process? Or is there something else?

Re: Depricated.

Hi all, having trouble getting this to even start. I've got the files from archive.org, unzipped and copied them to /media/fat/games/AO486. I ran the update script, which reported successful update to 0.7.8. I start the core, mount the BOOT-DOS98 vhd to IDE 0-0, and the Top 300 DOS vhd to IDE 0-1. I set boot priority to HARD DRIVE, and then select ...

Re: Menu OK/Cancel start out reversed, fixed on reboot

I'll try the MENU.CFG bit and hope for the best. Thanks.

Menu OK/Cancel start out reversed, fixed on reboot

I've configured a wired PS4 controller, with X (B) as Menu OK and O (A) as Menu Cancel. When the MiSTer first powers on those will be reversed but after a warm boot they will be correct. Everything else seems to be working as expected. Ran the gamepad input test and they were mapped correctly each time.

Am I missing something obvious?

Re: SMB/CIFS Mount

The scripts should be built-in. They're in /media/fat/Scripts. Networking only comes up after the GUI is displayed. It gets DHCP, runs the cifs_mount.sh script, and runs the time sync script. cifs_mount.sh doesn't seem to read an ini, you have to put the values for server, username, and password directly into the file. It will normally mount stuff...

Re: SMB/CIFS Mount

I've got a couple obvious questions, just to cover the bases. I'm planning to use a share on my Synology NAS as described above.

Where on the MiSTer do the mount/unmiunt scripts and ini file go?

Do they run every time it boots? And if so do they need to be added to a startup script somewhere?

When would I want to unmount?
