Yeah... my lingering issues were also my own fault. Using the test build everything works fine. The reason the top 300 pack wasn't working was because I didn't have any of the cue files where they were supposed to be.

Re: ISO CD's Do Not Work
They released a test build for mister this evening that seems to fix some of the larger issues going on with iso mounting if anyone wants to try it. Using this new MiSTer test build I'm able to mount ISOs and reset and apply hard drives without having to completely reload the core, however I'm still not able to use the top 300 vhd to load cue files...

Re: ISO CD's Do Not Work
Will the public build be updated to fix isos not working? Eventually, I'm sure it will, there are some lingering issues I've noticed with the latest test/unstable builds. For instance when I swap out hard drives and tell it to reset and apply those changes it can't detect them now. I have to save the hard drive configuration and reload the core to...

Re: Q87 - FPU Software Emulator For AO486
I think I got the oil slick worked out for the time being. When I did an auto detection for the video card during installation it had selected 65K colors, but when I ran it again from the game directory it only detected 256 colors. I suspect it was trying to interpret all the additional colors and failing. Once I brought it back into its capability...

Re: Q87 - FPU Software Emulator For AO486
Do the "sb -r" in another folder. After that, rename the resulted exe file to OVL and move it/overwrite the original sttng.ovl. Cutscenes looks ok, but I never played this game before.. Ah doing a different folder did the trick, I was out of space on the drive I had installed A Final Unity to. Once I copied it to a different drive with s...

Re: Q87 - FPU Software Emulator For AO486
Added Star Trek - A Final Unity to the main list in first post. This game from Spectrum Holobyte requires FPU, will play just nice with Q87 FPU emulator However, you still need to patch the main executable "STTNG.OVL" (STTNG.EXE is just a wrapper) with DOS32A: sb -r sttng.ovl then rename the resulted EXE back to OVL and replace the origi...

Re: ISO CD's Do Not Work
Still not working for me unfortunately. Copied MiSTer to my SD card (after renaming my existing one to MiSTer.bak). My existing AO486 setup no longer detected my CD-ROM drive and the top 300 DOS vhd failed when trying to read mounted .cue files as well.

MisterFS Not Showing Files
I set up my AO486 core today and was trying to copy over some files to the shared folder using misterfs, but it doesn't work. I'm using filezilla to connect to MisterFS over ftp, I'm using windows 10. I can see the file placed there in filezilla, and if I mount my SD card into my computer I can see all the files. But when I go to it within the 486 ...

Re: ISO CD's Do Not Work
100% came here today about this issue, I thought I was just setting up things incorrectly. I'm glad to see it a known bug.

Re: Testing Latency of Controllers
To be honest this is more of a "climbing the mountain because it's there" thing for me. I followed the instructions (with a couple tweaks) to make a dual sega to usb adapter from demonbite (I even found a nice 3D printer STL file to use for the case), but looking at the code I saw a couple places I thought I could tweak to get some better...

Testing Latency of Controllers
Hello all! I'm new to the MiSTer community (still waiting on my first one in fact) and I was learning about controller latency. I've done a bit of an overhaul of the code used for the Demonbite dual sega controllers and wanted to test the latency of the new code to see if I made it any better, if it's the same, or if I made it much MUCH worse ...
