Re: MiSTer Nuked-MD Mega Drive Core

Are the two cores tied together somehow regarding filtering/downloading?

I use filters to only download the cores I want in downloader.ini. I have both Genesis (old one) and MegaDrive (new core) cores installed.

When I try to !genesis it removes both cores.

Re: PS Menu Shaking

Oh really? Interesting. I owned a PS1 back in the 90's but it was so long ago I don't remember if this was something I saw back then, but yeah I would have been on composite video.

Thanks for the response!

Re: PS Menu Shaking

Open the OSD, scroll down to " Video & Audio ", then from within change " Deinterlacing: " from " Bob " to " Weave ". Save settings. Thanks for the recommendation. However, I'm already using the Weave option. I did toggle it back to Bob then back to Weave and it did not make a difference. Yep, having thi...

Re: PS Menu Shaking

Since I've started using the PSX core, I've had this odd issue where the main menu (where you manage memory card/cds) is shaking, like the menu text is flickering up/down quickly. Open the OSD, scroll down to " Video & Audio ", then from within change " Deinterlacing: " from " Bob " to " Weave ". Save se...

PS Menu Shaking

Since I've started using the PSX core, I've had this odd issue where the main menu (where you manage memory card/cds) is shaking, like the menu text is flickering up/down quickly. You can still make out the words just fine, but it's bouncing up and down very fast. This only happens on my CRT that is using VGA -> Component cables. In game, there is ...

Re: Sync Problem Rolling Picture Using direct_video Mode

OK, so I have resolved my rolling screen issue with any ini changes. Apparently I was using the PAL bios. Switching to the correct NTSC one resolved the issue. SCPH7001 ntsc SCPH7000 jp SCPH7002 pal The only remaining issue I have is that it's still doing this odd shimmer/shake while on the PSX bios menu, none of the other cores do that, but at lea...

Re: Sync Problem Rolling Picture Using direct_video Mode

Do you all still have issues with this? I can't get the PSX core to work on my Sony PVM using directvideo. Everything else works fine. I grabed a fresh mister.ini (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_MiSTer/master/MiSTer.ini), changed directvideo to 1 and composite sync to 1. Everything but the PSX core works fine. I also tried to ...
