Hi.

Here is the 24MHz patched neo-geo core up to date.

Any chance of getting an updated version that works with the recent neo geo cd core?

This version loads the core, but doesn't actually let you load roms.

Re: New HDR Settings

Finally trying out the updates on my C1. HLG is looking pretty good now at the TV's recommended HDR settings, as long as HDR tone mapping is set to "ON". I also prefer color gamut=native instead of auto, seems a little more saturated at the recommended 55 color. The max/avg nits settings in the ini do nothing for this TV, but it sounds l...

Re: Advice for HDMI Users

Cutting the traces for only pins 13 and 15 appears to work great. Actually, cutting pin 15 solves some problems but creates others. Cutting it causes eARC negotiation between my VIZIO TV and my ThenAudio SHARC to intermittently fail. So I'm not sure I'd recommend that folks cut/lift pin 15 just yet. This issue is being discussed in some detail -- ...

Re: Neo Geo CPU Overclocking?

The patched MS2 rom and this overclocked core has made it my favorite metal slug game. 100% accuracy is great, but there are definitely some quality of life improvements that are welcome. Especially when they are optional. Best of both worlds.

LG 27GL850 1440p 144hz gsync https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gl850-b 1440p and Vsync adjust 2 works. I did have to use the Atrac17 6x modelines though. It also rotates 90 degrees for tate mode. Just need to turn off the VRR feature to enable the Just Scan 1:1 aspect ratio EDIT: I've now tested it with the higher ipad res and vscale_mode...

All of the 1st party developed ones, except for Donpachi: DoDonpachi, Dangun Feveron, ESP Ra.De., Guwange... aand Uo Poko :) That said, all games bar the publicly released DoDonpachi mras, have issues. There are some premade filters in the repo now so it's not just a useless feature anymore. Mostly useful for the harsh arcade sounds.

Currently you need to use test builds of the cores and use an unreleased filter pack that has a light and dark value for scanline thickness. Check the settings-workshop channel of the mister discord for more info, or wait for the final release, which hopefully won't be much longer.

Re: Filters, Shadowmask and LCDs

Well those last Zelda screenshots look banded as hell, far from what they are on a crt, also if on screenshot some of these looks pretty decent (they really do), the difference in motion and real life usage is just staggering... The bottom 2 Zelda shots are at 1080p through a capture device. The others are phone shots of a 1440p display. Don't tak...

I turned off the Mister FPGA and I loaded the SNES Zelda link to the past game again and with F12 - Load Backup RAM I've never used the Load backup ram option once and the save data is always there as I expect it. Maybe there is something wrong with your rom and or the save file. Try downloading a new rom file. And see if you can start a game and ...

I just ran into something similar with a Brooks UFB and 8bitdo M30 where the D pad of the M30 would also control the other players D pad in Arcade cores. Trying to figure out what's going on. Does that sound like what you're experiencing?

Tate mode rotated cores need option for rotation direction

I've noticed that a few of the tate mode games will only rotate the screen clockwise or counter clockwise. My LCD monitor can only physically rotate clockwise. So imagine my disappointment when I switch it to tate mode and the game is now upside down. Some of the arcade cores have the option to flip it in DIP settings, but not always. Is there any ...

I went ahead and designed a 3D printed fightstick case and ordered some Sanwa parts along with a Brooks Ultimate Fighting Board. Re: HDMI to Component (for old JVC CRT TV)

The Portta does work for me, but I think I'm going to have to setup a video modeline for each console to output the correct resolution for each console over HDMI, much in the way that direct video would just pass the native console resolution over HDMI. The sync-on-green mod would be an option, but I have yet to find a decent visual representation....
