Is it too early to tell if this will be powered by the DE-10? The Retro Castle IO boards use USB-C on the board and I prefer the barrel jack.

Re: Connecting Retro Fighters Defender (Bluetooth)
I don't have a solution, but I am here to report that I cannot seem to get the Retro Fighters Hunter (OG Xbox) controller working on MiSTer. I've tried plugging it in via USB-C as well as the included dongle which reports PC and Switch compatibility (Xinput and Dinput).
Has anyone gotten the Hunter working over 2.4GHz?

Re: Power Switch: A Small but Important Question
At low voltages, it's the amperage that matters, so MostroW is pointed right at the problem. The switch you have is rated for 1 amp at 30 volts, so it will also be 1 amp at 5 volts. You want at least a 4A switch; you'd probably want one specced larger, for safety, maybe 6A if the difference isn't too costly. This is likely one of the problems with...

Re: Power Switch: A Small but Important Question
These switches are rated for 30v 1A, going with the idea that you're using a 5v adapter, i'd recommend looking for a 5v 3 4A continuous power rated DC power switch(es)? Thank you for the quick response! Any recommendation on where to look for such a switch? When I search '5v 4a latching switch' I get no results near what I am looking for. Looking ...

Power Switch: A Small but Important Question
I am nearing completion on a custom case design for my MiSter. One thing I am looking for advice on is the power switch. I would really like a latching on/off switch mounted to the front of this case. I have a custom shape designed for the exterior pushbutton so I am looking at mounting this switch behind the front panel of the case. I have a bunch...

Re: Questions about MT-32 Pi or Pi-Midi
When I was figuring out how to get an MT32-Pi up and running, I saw a lot of complaints about problems with longer cables. I think maybe they loosened the signal timings just a bit, but AFAIK you still want a short cable if possible. That was sort of the go-to diagnostic for MT32-Pi problems, the first thing people asked, almost.... "how long...

Re: Questions about MT-32 Pi or Pi-Midi
You probably don't really need the screen. It doesn't detract, but it's also not that important. I have one, but almost never look at it. Even if it was convenient and easy to see, I don't think I would care. The MT32-Pi is fully controllable from the onscreen menu system, so you don't actually need the buttons for anything when you're using it wi...

Questions about MT-32 Pi or Pi-Midi
I am currently designing a custom case for MiSTer. One of the main sticking points for me is whether or not to integrate the MT32-Pi. After some digging, I was quickly confused, so thought I'd ask here. I have three main questions about the MT-32 Pi: 1) How necessary are a screen and physical buttons? Do these allow extra features or make using muc...
