Just to confirm, have you pressed the Ext Sync button on the PVM so that is on? Also is the PVM in RGB as opposed to component mode? It can be switched in it's settings menu (depends on the model though, but is the case with mine).

That's interesting, I have a couple of analog boards so might try the other one in case the issue relates to that. I am just running it in Original mode. The monitor is a Nanao MS9 which should easily handle the original arcade refresh rate (and manages to handle it via DV so that's odd)

Basically, if I run with direct video I can play Moon Patrol, perfectly, but if I switch to my analog io db15 output, the monitor refuses the sync. Hi all, I have a PVM and also a 4:3 LCD nearby. Wondering if there is some way I can connect the VGA to the PVM, and HDMI to the LCD, but also block any signals in excess of 15khz from outputting over VGA to preserve the life of my PVM in situations when I launch a core that really wants 31khz?
