Re: Mt32 pi lite w/ a 2.23 wave share oled screen hat

I bought my mt32 pi lite prebuilt from crown arcade and I guess when they did it they only soldered the pins needed for the lite and did them as short as possible. So I’ve bought a pin array for a pi zero 2 and am going to desolder everything they did and put in fresh pins. That should fix my issue I think. Thank you for the info. Knowing which pin...

Mt32 pi lite w/ a 2.23 wave share oled screen hat

So I have an mt32 pi lite and a wave share 2.23 inch screen. I purchased the screen from here https://www.waveshare.com/2.23inch-oled-hat.htm And I did the mod as described here https://github.com/dwhinham/mt32-pi/wiki/LCD-and-OLED-displays%3A-Hardware-hacks However, I can’t figure out how to physically connect the screen to the mt32 lite. I remove...

Everything worked perfect for me too out of the box until lightguns were involved then it would go all weird.

Re: Nyko Super Cobra

I managed to troubleshoot the solution over on the discord. All my problems were because of a jumper on my io board next to the io port being set to 3.3v instead of io. I hope that helps you too.

ps. i use an aluminum case and desoldered my second usb as well

Nyko Super Cobra

I am using a ps1 snac adaptor (retrocastle) on a crt with a nyko super cobra gun plugged into the controller port 1 and the video input. Ps1 input settings are set to snac controllers for 1 and 2 The gun seems to function fine in the main menu, lights up and vibrates etc. until the ps1 core is loaded and then it goes dead so to speak. I tried it in...

Wai wai worlds and wagyan games not working?

All three wagyan games get corrupted graphics and usually crash within seconds. also both wai wai world games crash within a few seconds of playing, but all the menus and title screens etc seem to work fine.

not sure if its me or not. can somebody test these for me?

Does that triple adapter do atari joysticks etc on the db9? Does it have any kind of paddle support?

I would also like to know if you can use this for snk shooters like Ikari warriors etc.

Re: Apple II / Square Analog Joystick Gate

A lot of the logitech controllers have square gates, dual action was the one I had. Fairly decent if I remember and theyre really cheap and common. Might be worth a shot.

Never tried Karateka with it though.

Are these adapters any good?

I am seeing this design of adapter more and more and was curious about it

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0BLSQRD4S/

I see them claiming to be compatible with a bunch of things like the ntt data pad, can anybody confirm if these are actually quality?

Also, I saw no mention of paddle support for the atari side, does anybody know if they are or aren't?

Re: NES MSU1 SRAM Not Found?

I haven't had any luck with that, I usually just get different errors. I start with a fresh rom, edit it in project nested and change the sram to 7, save it to a snes rom, then patch it with the msu patch. Tried messing around with both metroid and megaman 1. The furthest I got was in the case of megaman 1, I got the title screen and I hit start an...

NES MSU1 SRAM Not Found?

Trying to play the msu1 nes games, I was able to play Megaman 4 just fine. But Zelda 1,2 and megaman 1 all give me a blue screen as soon as it boots saying that sram isn't found.

Has anyone else run into this?

Re: SNES Switch Controller vs 8bitdo 2.4

Yeah, I didn't even consider the extra button placement, they remind me of that old Wii classic controller that looked like a bar of soap. Those felt like absolute crap. I just was so attracted to the snes aesthetic applied to a catch all controller to use in most cores that I was hoping that it'd be magically good. In that case I'll probably just ...

SNES Switch Controller vs 8bitdo 2.4

So I have an 8bitdo snes 2.4 controller for the snes classic running through a raphnet adapter. And I love it, it's a great solution. However I've been looking at the snes switch controller because I'd like to play PS1 with the same feel, but with the extra two buttons for the extra set of shoulder buttons. Does anybody have any experience using it...

A different bug I noticed was the distant fog in Silent Hill gets all "glassy" looking as soon as you turn off dithering and turn on 24 bit rendering

Atari VCS Wireless Joystick on MiSTer?

Has anyone tried this with Mister?

https://atari.com/products/classic-joystick

It's a wireless atari joystick with a rotating joystick. Making it a fantastic possible candidate for paddle games, breakout and the snk cores coming out like Ikari Warriors. Oh and of course also being a good joystick too.

Has Anyone Gotten Rusty to Work?

I've wanted to play Rusty for awhile and tried it on the pc98 core, I got it going, but that core wasn't mature enough to play it right. So I moved over to the ms dos port of the game and ran into issues. I took the files and converted them into an iso and mounted it. It boots, shows the c-lab logo flawlessly and then immediately freezes on the tit...

Acomcagua English Translation

I've been trying to play the new English patch for aconcagua and mister has been having a lot of troubles. However I'm not sure if it's the patch itself or the core. Maybe someone can verify. Basically the game doesn't retain save data after i close the core. It will seem to be reading and writing to the memory card while the game is still open but...
