Re: Arcade Cabinet dual wired for MiSTercade and I-PAC2
For the update on my build, it's a lot further on than last time I posted. The design is fully finalised now, using a Vewlix style arcade cabinet template but with a Neo Geo MVS 'big-red' theme. I created new vector art from scratch for all the Neo Geo/MVS/SNK logos, graphics and control panel vinyl overlay Dual wired and switchable between an emul...

Re: Arcade Cabinet dual wired for MiSTercade and I-PAC2
That's some good progress on the project, I think the planning part of these cabinet projects takes longer than the actual build when you haven't done it before :D I've made some actual progress on assembly but was also curious on how your build is progressing too. Display: I have two options. I bought an Arcooda 20.1" 4:3 display (effectively...

Re: Arcade Cabinet dual wired for MiSTercade and I-PAC2
Hi Kimberley, I don't frequent these forums very often, hence the late reply! Did you ever get anywhere with your build? Mine is still in the design stage (due to moving house and etc.) but I should start putting things together finally this Spring. Dual Wiring Buttons - Basically this is not a good idea to just directly wire two inputs to a button...

I also found that the MiSTercade is only well documented for the 'standard' features but requires a bit of digging and tinkering for any of the extra stuff. I suppose that's always the nature of such a product.

Re: Arcade Cabinet dual wired for MiSTercade and I-PAC2
That's the plan, to switch the USB Spinner/Trackball via the KVM. It may be wishful thinking on my end but I'll post a reply back here if it works or not. My build is a few months away as I'm in the middle of moving house at the minute but I plan to have 2 players with 6 buttons each plus the Spinner/Trackball all mounted in the panel. I often thin...

Re: Arcade Cabinet dual wired for MiSTercade and I-PAC2
I did further research to come up with a neater/safer solution in case it's of use to anyone else. I decided to connect the PC via a J-PAC-C which has buttons 1-6 for both players 1 and 2 connected to the JAMMA edge. The MiSTercade would have the CHAMMA DIP switch in the 'right' position to also connect buttons 1-6 for both players on the JAMMA edg...

Re: MiSTercade Button 4,5,6 Hookup? [Solved]
Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I think I figured it out. I'm going a similar route to you (MiSTercade + J-PAC) but using a J-PAC-C version which has Player 1 buttons 4/5/6 on JAMMA pins 25/26/27 respectively and Player 2 buttons 4/5/6 on JAMMA pins c/d/e respectively. The MiSTercade would then have the CHAMMA switch in the 'right' position to allow i...

Re: MiSTercade Button 4,5,6 Hookup? [Solved]
Hi zorrobandito, Did the CHAMMA switch allow you to use buttons 4/5/6 on the JAMMA connector? With wiring as follows: P1B4 -> pin 25, P1B5 -> pin 26, P1B6 -> pin 27, P2B4 -> pin c, P2B5 -> pin d, P2B6 -> pin e. I see in another post you ended up using the CPS1 kick harness but I was looking at using a 'J-PAC-C' version so that has buttons 4-6 on th...

Arcade Cabinet dual wired for MiSTercade and I-PAC2
Hello everyone, I've happily been using my MiSTer for a couple of years and absolutely love it. I recently purchased a MiSTercade and I'm in the middle of planning my first arcade cabinet build. Due to limited space I can only fit one cabinet in the games room, and I'm trying to make it universal to be able to have both the MiSTercade and potential...
