Re: [New version!] SD Card Migration Utility for MiSTer: An easy way to migrate to a new SD card, no PC required
with Clonezilla Interesting idea. I was thinking about trying CloneZilla or Macrium Reflect recently.. Macrium can expand a certain volume to any size based on available space on the destination drive/device, just before actually doing the restore. It would also be good to use a serial console (if the mister has this? kind of like an enterprise ne...

Re: [New version!] SD Card Migration Utility for MiSTer: An easy way to migrate to a new SD card, no PC required
Hi Natrox, what a wonderful script, great idea too, nothing else does THIS job. I love nothing more than a functional, well written bash script :ugeek: I have a question, I would like to simply use this script, to "prepare" an SD card, then I can copy everything over myself on a device other than the mister itself. To do this, if there we...

Re: XK-68 Joystick Issues? On MiSTer Cores
That is a required step for any new input device Wow I feel silly. Thanks so much for that mapf In my haste to play with this joystick I did not do that. however its brought me to the realization that when I use the Z axis (spinner joystick), instead of just moving the axis on the Z axis it causes the joysticks postition to move around in an oval-...

XK-68 Joystick Issues? On MiSTer Cores
I have this cool x-input joystick which is normally used in the broadcast industry for controlling cameras and various events on set, from a control room environment. Its called a XK-68, made by P.I. Industries. It aroused my interest due to it having "spinner"controls via the joystick in the center of the controller (also it has many bac...

Re: Can't get propper RGBs, instead I get RGsB
first, flick the switch on your analogue IO board (the one near the VGA port) to stop using sync on green. (move the switch in the direction of the GPIO pins on the DE10 nano) then if you still dont get sync on your scart TV, make sure in the mister.ini you have set composite video to 1. you can modify the INI file by choosing scripts, then select ...

Re: USB Hub v2.1 - Doesn't work and hopefully someone can help?
any functional usb micro to micro cable will work. (usb bridge pcb or not) i have had times where a cable does not work so try another cable if you are confident in your solders. USB hub 2.1 is meant to just flash red just once (when you apply power), then as the mister boots up and then detects a functional usb-usb connection between de10nano and ...

Re: New Atari Lynx Core coming for MiSTer FPGA
/media/fat/games/Jaguar is where I was using an older beta core from once before. Should be the same.
I have a boot.rom in the folder too.
I am keen for the public release of this one

VGA (RGBHV) to SCART (csync) options
Hello people, Firstly I love the mister. Thanks to everyone who has played a part in making it possible and to those who continue its development. I have been dabbling with options to get VGA to SCART (be it 15khz or 31khz) working, with and without the composite_sync option set in the mister.ini file. As many people have pointed out in other topic...

Re: HOW TO: setup Total DOS Frontend packages on AO486.
@flynnsbit cant thank you enough for your time you have put into all this. i got the exodosconverter working in lubuntu after grabbing the one python package needed, but it would not work for me in Windows after building it, got GUI but would throw an error building the mister customizations, other emulation systems like retropie worked without fau...

Re: Breakthrough for the ao486 core announced - Cache
anyone tried Comanche yet ? It used to run really well on my friends 486 DX50 when I was a kid. My 386 SX at the time was a joke! Great game too. Its wonderful to see the progress this core is making ~ keep up all the good work to those involved

I'm So glad there is a place to talk about all things mister!
But yeah I have to use Google cache to look at atariforums stuff. Hopefully any of the valuable mister info can be recreated here.
