not the same as an ironclad, but different than the stack, check out the mister multisystem.

It’s not. It’s rendered at the native resolution (just like MiSTer), then they apply filters on top of that to simulate a CRT. Those filters are reportedly done in 4K.

Emulation is currently the way to go if you actually want things rendered in 4K with upgraded texture packs etc.

My advice, DIY. Aquire the driver controller and bid on ebay for broken ipads. best bet is to buy a 'lot' of a few.

the best ones are 'icloud locked' but sometimes the value are lots with shattered screens, a lot of the time the underlying LCD is perfectly fine!

if you have some wall space (and ideally a 3d printer) the honeycomb wall stuff works well!

If you want the best performance and skirt hw compatibility, you may want to consider an ethernet to wifi bridge.
