No idea Snax isnt part of the official specs. It may or may not work. Since its from Mister Addons I suspect it will work fine, but the Saturn Core and Snac are still being developed and so things will break

Thank you. I ordered a snac V1. I'll see if that works

Re: Sega Saturn Core in Development

Hi guys, I see that the Saturn unstable nightly says "fix stunner"...are they working now? I didn't see a stunner setting in the menu, and it's not registering hits when I fire at the screen, although I the screen flashes when i fire and the button toggles selectoins in the menu.

Hi guys, I'm curious what the current state of the 0mhz collection is. Should I switch from the previous DOS top300 collection? does everything work as well? is the MT-32 pi at least as well supported? Thank you.

Re: What Are the Reasons to Own a MiSTer Without a CRT?

I've been emulating through software for many years, and I don't think I could go back after using the MiSTer. The lag and latency are so much better. For instance, Saturn is my main system that I want to play, aside from arcade cores. It's hard to describe how much better the experience is on MiSTer, it feels like real hardware. One obvious thing ...

Nintendo and Famicom Problem After Recent Update

Nintendo and famicom have always worked great for me. But I checked yesterday and half of the games I tried wouldn't load and the other half were exhibiting random rapid-fire inputs at the main menus. It did this no matter which controller I used and even if there was no controller attached. Has anyone else had any issues since the update a few day...

Other Things to Do with X68000

Hello, I've been enjoying a pack of games in hdf format for quite some time and I was wondering if there's other interesting things in hdf format. Like music players or demoscene stuff. Does that exist anywhere? I see a lot cool music players in YouTube x68000 videos, but I'm not sure where to get hdf versions.

This may be an issue: video_mode=1,1600,64,192,304,1200,1,3,46,162 try this and see if that helps: video_mode=1600,64,192,304,1200,1,3,46,162 That worked! Thank you. Although now I see other issues, like it disables 5X upscaling, which I would need for the 1600X1200 I would think. Edit: sorry, I didn't mean to suggest that your advice caused a pro...

Help with Dell 2007FPB

Hi guys, I tried searching and didn't see a resolution to my particular problem, I wonder if you can help. I have a Dell 2007FPB and I'm trying to use the INI file linked below as an alt. Re: Question about multiple displays with multiple ini files.

Analog and hdmi outputs can be driven independently (default setup on MiSTer is unfiltered analog output) - you can keep your setup for the 4k TV unchanged. All you need to check is the sync setup for the analog output (you need composite sync). Only a few cores create analog output that might not be shown properly on the Sony (486 PC, some other ...

Question about multiple displays with multiple ini files.

Hello all. I have a MiSTer with an analog IO board. I mostly use it with my 4k tv, but occasionally I'd like to connect it to my 27 inch sony trinitron. I'd use a different ini file for each, but with the tv I use filters and shadow masks. What happens to them when I connect to the crt? Would I have to manually disable and re-enable the filters eac...

I don't seem to have a mister.ini file in root

Hello, I wanted to make some changes to the MiSTer.ini file in my MiSTers root, but when I ftp in using filezilla, I don't see any file called mister.ini

The closest are MiSTer.ini.old and MiSTer_example.ini. Any idea why it's missing?

Thanks.

Re: well I'm at a complete loss with my two white 8bitdo M30 2.4g USB controllers...(unresponsive d-pad in main menu set

So, I don't know if this qualifies as being an idiot (probably), but I seem to have it sorted. When I enter controller set up in the main mister menu, I was pressing space to skip the first few steps because I thought they were about the analog stick. The first step however, is called 'd-pad test' and apparently it's very important because after I ...

Small update: I bought a brand new M30 on Amazon and Mister exhibits the same behavior, on the main options set up game pad screen, it recognizes d-pad down and right. the problem is definitely on he mister side, can anyone help? I can't believe this is the first time anyone's encountered this.

Thank you very much.

my two white 8bitdo M30 2.4g USB dongle controllers which worked perfectly up until tonight are suddenly completely screwed up. In the main Mister menu, when I try to set them up, two maybe 3 of the d-pad inputs aren't reading. Both controllers exhibit the exact same behavior. The one thing I did differently tonight was I held up and select to try ...
