Re: Groovy_MiSTer Core

Try to delete the config files in the config folder (Groovy_volume.cfg,Groovy.cfg). I had a similar problem with the new versions and after deleting the old config it worked again.

No one has glitches?

I´ve tried the main version and the db9 version.

The main version looks good but the db9 fork has sprite problems.

Maybe you have enabled db9 fork in update_all.

Re: Would Love to See More Classic Arcade Cores

I would love to see the existing classic arcade cores working fine with sound (no matter if samples or not). That would be great :-) It would be cool if the user port could send info to an analog board and then mix digital and analog together. I´ve seen some articles about Field Programable Analog Arrays and the prices weren't as high as I expecte...

Re: Groovy_MiSTer Core

Maybe you can try an older version and see if it works.

In the github page the Stable version is from 5 months ago 20240125. There you have Groovymame and Mister file for that release.

Re: New MSX Core In The Works

Same here. Using the same version I could type in basic screen and also loaded a game and play with the keyboard without problems.

Re: Groovy_MiSTer Core

I’m using a Windows PC. For a direct connection do I need to give the computer its own static IP address? I’ve already done that on my MiSTer setup and have that specified for GroovyMAME. I’d like to see if I can get better performance than connecting through my LAN. Yes, static IP. You can, but the correct way is to have the all the general MiSTe...

Re: Groovy_MiSTer Core

Thanks for the suggestion. I think id need 3 of them, one to connect my router to an outlet, one to connect my mister to an outlet and one to connect my pc.. it would be cool if the developers could create a build that you can just connect an ethernet cable from the misterfpga straight into a pcs ethernet port. It has been this way from the beggin...

Re: Groovy_MiSTer Core

Wow, looks great, a really nice idea. That'll teach the Mad Gear gang a lesson  It could be a great way for indie developers to try something different with a setup like that on CRT. Good to know about the network card. It's a question for the developers, but I think it should be technically possible. Anyway I'm not sure if it's worth the cost...

Re: Groovy_MiSTer Core

Would it be possible to send data to two (or three) different ip through a router? Something like The Ninja Warriors or Darius II or do you think it would be difficult to sync. Maybe not for Mister but for a cheaper FPGA alternative like you said.

Thanks again for your work

Re: Groovy_MiSTer Core

First of all, thanks a lot psakhis for creating this core. It's great that you can use the same computer for modern games on the LED tv and send the GroovyMame data to the MisterFpga with the CRT. I have my old video card just in case but since buying the new graphic card I haven't played anything from MAME on the CRT ( I remember using GroovyArcad...
