Speedruns on Regular Core and Gameplay Accuracy
Could be feasible to perform speedruns on regular core for those games that don't have issues, or these things may differ:
Game speed (not FPS but physical movement) at different/higher speed
Glitches and bugs reproducing more/less/different than in original console
Any information about this, somebody tried, any video?

How Does the N64 Turbo Core Work?
I would like to know more about how the Turbo Core of the N64 works:
Only increases the framerate
Only increases the game speed (how fast you move in terms of distance per time)
Both
So for example if I do a speedrun with the core in turbo mode, will take less time than the original console?
