I was afraid something like that would be the case but hopeful the developers used some other hardware for this game, considering it's also on mobile.

I don't know, it's hard to find a good adapter as it is, let alone to have a digital output.
Just buy an IO board and solve all your problems.

I think you are confusing input lag with response time.

Can I just quickly hijack the topic and ask something.
Does the update_all download all the arcade ROMs that are available or do I have to search for some of them myself?

You make two .ini files and then switch between them with a keyboard shortcut.

You can but you lose the ability to output HDMI and VGA at the same time, at least on Misteraddon's and Retrocastle's boards because they use the external HDMI bridge.
But the official board doesn't offer this option.

I have enough of this and I'm buying an IO board.
But this is another rabbit hole, lol.

Well the spreadsheet does focus on image quality and nothing else, so I wouldn't call it misleading.
I'm using that same Icybox adapter on a BVM and never noticed any problems though.

This solution is more clean but you are forced to use the DAC that is in the cable.
If you look at this table, the AG6200, that is inside that cable, is the worst:

Sorry, my bad. It's 9.2 indeed.
So from what I gather, Misteraddon's IO Direct will offer dual RAM option which is already a win in my book.
But what do we know about the DACs on both?

Misteraddon already have the new 2024 model IO board up for sale and so is the official 8.1 board.
Has anyone been able to test them out yet?

The black screens while switching resolutions, sometimes even during gameplay, was too much for me.
I changed it to vsync_adjust=1 and hope the lag is low enough...

But wait, my monitor can do 240p, I don't want to double the scanlines.

Any progress on this?
