Re: MT32-pi Developer Quit - WTF?!?
I say this as a VOGONS-er of 15 years: As much as I love the place, that person's experience isn't surprising. There's a section of the community (not even just within VOGONS, but most places in the retro computer/games sphere) that get irrationally angry about people enjoying games "the wrong way". At one end of the spectrum, they "...

Re: Coco3 Core Released
Hello!! I recently updated the PCXT core for 9.2 IO boards, and am attempting the same for CoCo3, to restore analogue video on such boards (particularly for me, the Mister Pi supplied board). If I wholesale update the project with the new sys folder, and add the HDMI_BLACKOUT symbols to CoCo3.sv, the core does not boot. Or, perhaps it boots, but th...

Re: Some Cores Don't Output Analog?
Final bump haha, I've done the update for PCXT: viewtopic.php?t=8938
However my build of CoCo3 doesn't run, I believe they had some changes to the files in sys, so will follow up there.

Update For New Analog IO Boards
Hiya! I found that the PCXT core needed the MiSTer framework updated to do analogue out with newer IO boards, like the one that comes with Mister Pi. Update and release available here: https://github.com/RetroSwimAU/PCXT_MiSTer/tree/main Change proposal here: https://github.com/spark2k06/PCXT_MiSTer/pull/103 Hopefully this is helpful to someone <3

Re: Some Cores Don't Output Analog?
May have found my answer: https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?p=90775#p90775 And had my suspicion confirmed by CountDuckula on Discord (Thanks!!!) PCXT's last release certainly predates the updated framework, and CoCo3 may have just missed out too, going by the commit history. I'll create GitHub issues if I can't nut out how to update and build th...

Some Cores Don't Output Analog?
I have a weird problem where I don't get any analogue video from some cores. I have a MisterPi with the IO board, using a DE15 to 5xBNC cable. Specifically, I am having problems with the PCXT and Tandy CoCo 3 cores. I have a PVM-2950QM connected, and every other core either works flawlessly, or shows a scrambled image (due to not being 15kHz, which...
