Direct Video vs IO Board and DEBUG_NOHDMI
Direct Video vs IO Board and DEBUG_NOHDMI
Hi all, I am new to FPGA and MiSTer, but excited to learn how to develop for the system. I currently only have the base DE-10 board (and SDRAM), but was able to get set up and working with some cores. I have not set up for development yet, but the wiki mentions a DEBUG_NOHDMI macro that speeds compilation time by removing HDMI video support. Does Direct Video as described at https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Main_Mi ... rect-Video still function when the DEBUG_NOHDMI flag is enabled, or is the IO board required for this compilation time improvement? Thanks
