Xenon Speech

Hi all

Has anyone managed to fix the 'Sector 1' speech in Xenon. Its my fav game on the ST and scratchy voice is killin me hahaha

Stereo sound configuration does that in some games. Please check that you are using mono sound?

Wow it was that, its working great now. Out of interest was the ST not meant to use stereo then?

The ST was mono, only the STE was stereo.

STE have 2 sound chips.
YM mono for soundchip.
PCM stereo for digits.
