Hi,
I just got a 8bitDo Zero 2 controler.
I works correctly with the wire, but I am not able to pair it through BT.
Found: Pro Controller
MAC: 98:B6:E9:F3:7C:0D
ERROR: Device creation failed
Other 8bitDo pads are pairing correctly.
I have tried a brand new SD install to see if it changes anything.
No more luck until now.
Are there additional logs that can be enabled somewhere ?
or if someone has any clue ?

Re: 8bitdo Zero 2 pairing issue
8BitDo Bluetooth controllers have various modes for different hosts, and I don't think they all work with MiSTer. Judging by the MAC prefix, your controller is probably in Nintendo Switch mode. For most of the recent controllers, the mode is set by holding one of the X/Y/B/A buttons while powering on the controller with the Start button:
Y: Nintendo Switch
B: DirectInput (Android)
X: XInput (Windows)
A: Apple (macOS/iOS)
I usually use my SN30 Pro+ in DirectInput mode for MiSTer.

Re: 8bitdo Zero 2 pairing issue
As ExCyber stated above, you likely need to change the input mode:

I suggest using X-Input (so press X & Start to turn on the controller, and then pair it).

Re: 8bitdo Zero 2 pairing issue
Thank you for the advice.
B+Start did the trick for the pairing.
Now Start makes it linked directly.
