The water effect for the first level of Batman Return of the Joker (the sewers) and the first level of Duck Tales 2 are not so good on the mister GameBoy Core (GB mode or GBC mode).
The effect is way better in the GBA SP screen (GBC Mode).
Do you think the effect can be improved or it is related to the screen so it can't be improve ?

Yeah Batman flickers the water on and off so that needs frame blending. I already have frame blending working so it is coming soon.

Tested the last PR of GBCore, the blend effect is very good for Batman Return of the Joker, Battle Ping Pong, Chikyuu Kaihou Gun ZAS

Most likely yes, it is alternating between shield and Sonic every frame.
